Typical  phone has no service and touch ID doesn't work.
Tim should take back those thanksgiving holiday days...

iOS 8.0.1 working fine Verizon iPhone 5S

I just upgraded my Verizon iPhone 5S (16GB) and everything is working fine. Cellular and Touch-ID are not disabled for me.

Installed and worked fine on my 5s. However it took a lot of time for searching for the cellular network.

CONFIRMED!!!

For iPhone 6 users: If your phone is having problems, download the 8.0.1 IPSW and option-update in iTunes. This will fix the issues!

I have a phone again! Yayyy!

They cannot fire people for just a small mistake. Everyone makes mistakes. Probably they will ask him/her to concentrate better next time.

I believe Steve Jobs fired people for smaller mistakes than this. I'm not in favor of tyranny like that, but this is going to cost somebody their job.

To any one having issues after updating, ios 8.0 is still being signed, you can restore to that older version to get things working again

As I gathered information from this thread, this seems to be issues with iPhone 6 and iPhone 6+ ONLY, so if you are on iPhone 6 and 6s, DO NOT UPDATE!

Other iPhones seems to be working fine, my iPhone 5s works perfectly!

iPhone 6 AT&T No Cell Service & No Touch ID

Updated my iPhone 6/64 on AT&T OTA from 8.0 (12A365) to 8.0.1 (12A402) and when the phone finally rebooted there was no cell service and no Touch ID. I am now reverting to 8.0. This is a crock.

Upgraded, got flagged for a carrier update afterwards (5s) - wondering if this is indeed a carrier settings issue?

"iOS 8.0.1

This release contains improvements and bug fixes."

What a lie, Apple!:p

"Download and install"

Thanks but no thanks

Bendgate: The $xxx/$x,xxx iPhone 6+ bends in your pocket with minimal force? This is unacceptable Apple.
Fanboys: It's aluminum dumbass! You should already know it bends, just keep it out of your pocket and carry it around, stop whining. Plus, it probably only happens to 0.000000000001% of people using it. Big deal.

8.0.1 update: Update my phone and can't even make calls or use TouchID? Thanks Apple.
Fanboys: Jesus you noobie, everyone knows you don't update your phone right when it comes out if you have important things to do just incase something goes wrong. Use common sense for once and stop whining.

I love it, this is gonna be another good thread to sit back and eat popcorn to.
