Well, this didn't fix my iCloud Keychain issues and now I'm not even getting the activation code to my phone number... #

May be they should fix the WiFi bug on the 6/6+ or may be it's iOS8.x related?

The phone believes there's no Internet on the WiFi and switches to use LTE/3G. AWESOME ! Eat my data!

Turning the WiFi off/on will then use the WiFi.
I found that the phone is not renewing it's DHCP address with the modem/router until you turn the WiFi off/on.

This seems to happen when you come in range & reconnect to a remembered/previous WiFi connection.

For those that updated and have no cell service or Touch ID, does Safari at least seem snappier?

To any one having issues after updating, ios 8.0 is still being signed, you can restore to that older version to get things working again
Or try the 8.0.1 update again using iTunes this time as some are having luck with that rather than OTA.

CONFIRMED

OTA iPhone 6 on Verizon didn't work - Cell and TouchID broken.

Downloaded the IPSW did the Option Upgrade trick in iTunes and re-installed 8.0.1 and TouchID and Cell works now.

Any difference between updating via iTunes and OTA? Some reports say OTA is broken while updating via iTunes works fine.

My 6+, unboxed an hour ago, is now having the same issues after the upgrade (really need to read here first) ... no cellular (have a Cricket sim in a Tmobile phone that worked before the upgrade) and no Touch ID (when I try to set up more fingers, it tells me it failed).

Good to know. I'm in the same boat. Gonna throw a cricket sim in a t-mobile 6+ once UPS gets here later today. Now I REALLY know not to update.

ok after the update, i have no network (it just days Searching) and strangely Touch ID just stop working....help?

You and A LOT of other people. The article has been updated to reflect these problems. It seems people updating OTA are the ones having problems as some people have updated with iTunes without any issues.

OH THE HUMANITY!!!!!

I want my free update and several mouse clicks back NOW Apple.

I'm not kidding either. This minor inconvenience is RUINING my day!

AAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!

Reading this thread it seems to be ONLY isolated to iPhone 6 users

I have an iPhone 5s and I updated immediately and I have had no issues with cellular service or with Touch ID. Things are working just fine for me.
