I wouldn't be surprised if some of the posters on whirlpool in Oz were Apple haters trying to confuse the issues.

Given the update hasn't been pulled in Oz and it has been up for a while I would suspect it is not a broken fix.

No problems here. 8.0 -> 8.0.2 on both my iPhone 5s 32GB AT&T and my iPad mini retina 64GB also AT&T.... Interesting side note. The iPad mini isn't activated for cellular. I have a sim in it, and the cellular turned off, after the update I just saw the wifi signal in the upper left, but something looked like it was missing.... So I turned cellular on and then off and finally the word "iPad" appeared next to the wifi icon. I knew something was missing up there. Just strange that it took on/off cellular settings to make it appear.

I just updated my iPad and 5S.

My wifi speeds are about 1/10 or less than what I normally see!

I usually get between 35-50 Mbps on my wifi devices. After the update I am seeing about 3 Mbps. Upload speeds don't seem to have changed, but my dl speeds sure have!

So I had all my Steps data deleted in Health app when I uograded to 8.0.1 yesterday and now AGAIN with 8.0.2. What the hell? Is this how Apple thinks this software should behave?? Anyone else getting this?

On a 6 Plus here. I had the same problem, all my HealthKit data gone after rolling back to 8.0 from 8.0.1. I really don't feel like entering all that information again and again...holding off til a proper update comes along 8.0.3?

Just think of all the hours of productivity lost because of Apple's poor QC, not to mention the loss of trust.

FYI, I'm experiencing issues (Touch ID no longer works and still "Searching..." after updating my iPhone 6+ from 8.0 to 8.0.2 via OTA (skipped 8.0.1)

I had every iPhone released including 27" iMac, multiple other iDevices, Time Capsules, etc

I own NO ANDROID crap.....definately not a Apple hater...reporting this issue exists for some end users

So far so great! I was too busy yesterday to hear about the iOS 8.0.1 release before reading online about all the problems! So glad I was and did not upgrade. But tonight updated to iOS 8.0.2 and have had no problems( knock on wood) I'm happy to report. I have noticed speedier WiFi and Safari surfing speeds since upgrading. I was surprised to find surfing on the original release was s bit laggy but this seems to have fixed that Way to go Apple for getting a fix out so quickly!

You lost a few days of step data because you couldn't wait to update phone software!? How on EARTH will you carry on??

A picture would prove it.

Settings icon has a badge indicating there's an update AFTER I updated. So very frustrating

Oh no! Better sell and get a samesuck.

It's there for my iPad Air which is as low as a wet week after installing IOS 8, so I'll be waiting till I hear about 200 good reports. It doesn't say anything about fixing the lag on the Air so I'm not hopeful.

You can still roll back to 7.1.2 & wait till they get things fixed up (just did a 5s earlier today).

Wow, I decided to wait for the 8.0.2.... now my Cell Service and Touch ID isn't working.

On Verizon 64gb iPhone 6
