Oddly enough, even though the steps data was cleared in the Health app, other apps like Cyclemeter and Pedometer++ are still showing the historical data going back to Saturday when I bought the phone!

I didn't even INSTALL Pedometer++ until Tuesday, so it must have dug back in the M8 sensor data to get the historical data since Saturday. With this historical data available, why the *@#(%*@ did the built in Health app lose the data?

My steps are still in healthki, upgrading from 8.0 to 8.0.2

Developer updates sometimes clobbered them, so i wrote an app to capture all the health kit data, stick it in a sql database on iCloud drive, and then check to see if health kit is empty and copy it back. Saved my bacon once.

my iphone 6+ 64gb at&t is working fine downloaded it from itunes this time after doing a full backup prior.

I wouldn't be surprised if some of the posters on whirlpool in Oz were Apple haters trying to confuse the issues.

Given the update hasn't been pulled in Oz and it has been up for a while I would suspect it is not a broken fix.

Yeah, that's the problem with anonymous postings. There are definitely apple haters on this board and elsewhere, we all know that. Screen shots can be faked also, obviously. I'm not saying everyone is faking, but who knows how many are.......

This piece of **** broke the notifications again! They won't go away even though I flick them ## (4S).

iPhone 5 & iPad Air LTE, updated OTA with success.

iPhone 6 Plus iTunes updated with success.

Do not update to 8.0.2 if you have a 5s. I never installed 8.0.1 and just installed 8.0.2 an hour ago and my Touch ID stopped working and my cellular is acting goofy.

Wow, I decided to wait for the 8.0.2.... now my Cell Service and Touch ID isn't working.

On Verizon 64gb iPhone 6

I have the same model phone. 8.0.2 is working flawlessly for me on Verizon. 8.0 was giving me fits earlier today. Try Resetting the Network Settings.

Just finished to update my iPhone 5 and iPad 4 from 8.0.1 to 8.0.2 - no issues so far.

However, I learned my lesson. After updating from 7.1.2 to 8.0 I experienced some strange behavior on both devices, nothing others reported. I never did a clean install before, coming from 6.n.n. After performing clean installs of 8.0 on both devices the issues disappeared.

So what I'm doing now is:

- Updating via iTunes, not OTA
- Backup the device
- Restore the device
- Performing a hard reset on the device

This takes a little bit longer than the OTA update but I can be sure everything will work as designed and it frees up some memory on the iOS device as an extra bonus.

iPhone 6 just updated, I'm experiencing issues (Touch ID no longer works and still "Searching..." after updating from 8.0 to 8.0.2 via OTA (skipped 8.0.1)
