Additional Warning

Well I updated to 8.02 just as I was going to bed last night. This morning I'm having problems with Waze app. and Shazam. I think it is having problems connecting to the Internet via cellular. Waze and Shazam freezing. Hard re-boot took forever and it went dark even after the Apple logo showed up for the longest time.

I wouldn't update from 8.0 for awhile if you haven't already shot yourself in the foot like I did by updating to 8.02.

I did the OTA update and it broke my cellular connection and touchID.

Restored through iTunes (using the 8.0.2 IPWS) It's working fine now.

Yep, I've got a UK iPhone 6 Plus and it's all working fine after the 8.0.2 update (really pleased with the phone after the jump from iPhone 5). I'm on Three if it makes any difference? I think I read the problems have mainly been with people on EE.

Cool... i'm on three too (with a 6 though not 6 plus) so think i'll make the jump now :D

iOS 8.0.2 Updated successfully on my iPhone 6 Plus. No Touch ID problems and No network reception issues.

Done OTA, Unlocked iPhone 6 from Apple Online, 64GB running on AT&T in the NY.

Multiple users in Australia are still reporting both Touch ID and cellular connection issues after installing iOS 8.0.2.

this update totally sucks it screwed up my phone it has Siri saying I don't understand. Then the the connect to iTunes screen pops up and iPhone must go into recovery mode. I've done this three times and it still saying connect to iTunes

iPhone 6, Virgin Mobile Canada
- upgraded from 8.0 (after having downgraded once from 8.01) over OTA (iTunes download would have taken too long before I left for work)

No issues with TouchID or cell connectivity

Did an OTA update last night to 8.0.2.

iPhone 6, 128GB, unlocked, Rogers in Canada.

No issues at all. Everything working fine!

My 5S and my son's 6 were just updated to 8.02 (United States) and cell/touch ID are fine...phew...

My phone is supposed to show up this morning (iPhone 6 Plus 128GB Telus). I'll install the update and see how it goes.

Absolutely. A lot of people rely on their cell phone as their only phone, and a lack of phone service means a lack of access to emergency services. Apple really screwed-up big time. The quick response with iOS 8.0.2 only partially mitigates this fact.

Yes they did no question. But they provided a work around within hours and worked around the clock to provide a new update/fix. What else can they possibly do? Crap happens not only to Apple but most companies out there. All they can do is address it as quickly as possible and they did. I can see the replies coming fanboy, apple defender, blah blah blah none of which is true. I am in IT and I know that things happen. All anyone can do is resolve it as quickly as possible. Even Apple is not perfect.

And also Health data.

I've been working with Apple since Monday on this,

HEALTH DATA IS NOT CURRENTLY STORED ON ICLOUD, IF YOU RESTORE BACK FROM THAT YOU WILL LOOSE ALL YOUR HEALTH DATA.

Working with a senior iOS engineer, waiting on a update from their team on this matter.

Yep I noticed this too - spent 3 days input all my calories, carbs, protein, sugar, fat and sat fats to find its all deleted!! :(

Has anyone else noticed if TouchID stops working when it's plugged in post 8.0.2?

I'm running a iPhone 6 128GB on EE (UK).

May have to do a full restore using iTunes to see if that will sort it..
