So none of the credit/debit cards I have support Apple Pay

They are Chase and Capital One...what gives?

Thanks. I was looking on Messages on my laptop. Didn't know about that hidden setting on the phone.

yes see i can be useful unlike these ppl that like to just bash someone before they even can respond with logic.

for the last time BIEDZ1216 OPINON ON APPLE PAY WILL BE ANSWERING 0 MORE THREADS ABOUT IT-------Understood if a company has NFC :apple:pay will be able to be used. Also understood companies are not announcing they are not supporting NFC transactions they are saying they are not supporting APPLE PAY so whatever that means to you is what it means, to me it means they want it to look like they are able to opt-out of Apple Pay-whether they just don't support NFC transactions to me is irrelevant when trying to determine which stores support Apple pay as a general consumer. That is the shoes i put myself in when i answer forum threads. I don't assume everyone has the knowledge devs do. Because they have aboutt 2% of the technical knowledge we do.

SMS Relay doesn't work here. I tried enabling it on my iMac and Macbook Air, it displays a dialog to put the code that should pop up on my Macs, but there is no code...

Very cool idea - Apple should do this with Apple Maps....

Someone should create a community driven App that will show you all the verified places where NFC/Apple Pay is known to work.

This is not necessary. The store either accepts NFC contactless payments or it does not.

When you walk up to pay, look for the nfc logo that looks like a sideways wifi signal.

If you make this list or map, it won't be a list specific for Apple Pay. It'll be a map for where Apple Pay or Google Wallet or ISIS or whatever else is accepted.

interesting that update was offered OTA from 8.1 b2 but iTunes states its already up to date.

Thanks US Bank for plastering it all over your site saying your cards will work with ApplePay, and sending me emails that is is going to happen, and then when I tried to add to ApplePay, it says your cards are not supported.

Thrown my iPad into recovery mode.

My iPad Air (32gb Wi-Fi only) was on 92% battery and plugged in when I did the update. The screen went blank for a long time and I was't able to turn it on and then it suddenly threw itself into recovery mode. iTunes isn't letting me restore it either. My iPhone (5 32gb Unlocked) updated, came back on and then went off again and showed the progress bars. Bit confused.

Handoff not working for me.

Bluetooth enabled on iPhone 6 and Mac, same iCloud account.

No icon on Dock on Mac and no icon on Lock screen or in Multitasking on iPhone.

k this needs to be put to rest. They have to SIGN UP for :apple:pay!!!! lol thats why Tim showed what stores were PARTICIPATING lol......

WRONG WRONG WRONG.

The banks have to be on board. The payment itself uses EMV standard protocols.

Stores will have stickers of apple logos soon
