I had this, to fix it double click the home button and swipe Safari away. It then works when you next load it up.

No good unfortunately, tried reboot, reset, restore, no luck #

Works fine on the retina mini though

Sucks that Camera Roll doesn't work when you use iCloud photo Library. I don't see why they have to rename it.

Apple Pay

Set up my BofA and AMEX without a glitch, the camera method is awesome and verification is your choice of text or email.

Bank of America only had a phone verification for some reason but just pressed the number and they were quick with C.S. They even answered BofA Apple Pay support. They are more then ready for today, At least with my experience this morning.

My 8.1 update OTA was smooth and quick, not a problem and seems to be working flawless!

I'm guessing Apple Pay is linked to the Chase app, because it looks like that's where the payment notification came from?

ok i have restarted it twice,then factory reset error,next error and after 1 hour of error the factory -.-

Either try the "Erase all Content and Settings" on the device or a restore via iTunes.

If all else fails do a DFU restore.

That is NOT how Apple Pay is supposed to work. Clearly the vending machines are not hooked up to the internets yet. I will search for a phone jack to plug in the modem.

Just like iTunes Radio, Apple Pay seems to be US only

I'm in the UK, and despite the UK (and the rest of Europe) having had NFC for ages, the 8.1 update does not even let us add a card to it

Given Apples lack of speed in rolling out things outside the USA, I think I will be seriously considering Android next time I get a new phone (as at least Google rolls things out outside of the USA)

The hardware is there, but they have to sign deals with banks, etc, in many different countries.

OK, so I went to my vending machine and where you put the dollar bills I waved my phone. NOTHING happened. Tried twice. Apple Pay = MAJOR FAIL.

hmmm Your kidding right!? I hope!! Or you are totally uninformed. First the NFC system needs to support Apple Pay. So it requires the provider, vending machine or whatever to support this service (i.e. McDonalds). A vending machine is a horrible first test. Please try a supported service and one that is online. I feel you may wan to read a bit more on Apple Pay as the fact you ran over to use this on a vending machine tells me your either a troll or not paying attention.

That being said a lot will not be supported today but that will change and who knows, whoever makes your vending machine may do an update to support Apple Pay but that I feel will be a long time coming... Now go educate yourself it will take all but 10 minutes of research. Much of to be found on MacRumors or even Apples website. Good luck!!!

Can't answer that with a yes or no, lol.

Bank specific. For example, Citi will have to support Apple Pay in order to use a Citi Visa or MasterCard.

Adding cards is a breeze. My hand was wobbling like crazy and it still read the card. Too bad Diners Club isn't on board yet, but my main personal cards are all set up. Now I just need something to buy.

Had to do OTA. iTunes kept saying 8.0.2 was the latest version and then it was saying the server wasn't responding.

Yeah. Mine said 8.1 was already on my iPad. The iPad itself said, "Hey! Over here! There's an update!" ...all 1.5GB of it. This iPad2 had the developer previews on it, but had 8.0.2 installed after it came out. Must have just been some glitch somewhere.

iTunes was on a MacBook that I did a clean install of Yosemite on the other day. Huh.

There's a list somewhere of Visa bank partners that are going to support Apple Pay in the coming weeks/months. My tiny credit union is on it - may want to look for that.

My bank isn't on there! Many sad faces.

Hopefully it'll happen soon.

No... it will depend on if you bank or credit union does... OR basically the institution that holds your money. If they do not it will not work.
