Yeah people aren't very bright. They just see 4K and think awesome!!!!!! Almost no one can view it in full res unless you have the TV ( hardly anyone does) or a 5K iMac.
As arent you! Because watching 4K in 1080p is a lot better than watching native 1080p. 4:4:4 vs 4:2:2

All phones get their time stamp signal from the telco towers not Apple or any other company. They get a ping each time they connect to a tower. If you drop out of cell reception your time then goes by algorithm until it receives a ping when it connects again. Check your date time settings are set to automatic and select your correct time zone. Call your carrier and tell them or check there hasn't been an update from your provider as well.
It's a glitch from iOS 9 betas. Generally a fresh installation of the released version of iOS 9 seems to fix it.

Is anyone else having trouble with Safari in that it doesn't remember ANY logins:
Here, Google, Amazon, Disqus, eBay, etc., etc.--I have to relogin EVERY time I go to those pages!

I have a bug that was on iOS8 and iOS9. Its when im connected to my blue tooth car stereo. Sometimes when I play music from the music app its at lower volume then normal. If I close out of all my apps the volume goes back to normal. Its usually from the messages app or snapchat that temporarily lowers the volume for notifications. It somehoe stays at the lower volume until the app is closed.

I'm having that issue but it's in my FORD system that's equipped with Microshit's my ford touch...

My sister in law's iPad is basically bricked. Sent her a "I know it doesn't help you right now, but..." message lol. Good that they addressed that quickly. Still pretty laggy for my 6+ (I figured it would since it wasn't mentioned) but otherwise working pretty smoothly. Can't wait for 9.1.

They've broken updates. App Updates now either take 3 hours or appear to download, don't actually download or say there is an update for an app not installed. Annoying.
I get tons of updates for apps that haven't actually been updated. But I don't think it's related to iOS 9.0.1, since it also happens in iTunes. They screwed something up in the app store.

Apple wouldn't know about any major problems with the OS unless they release it to the general public first. Not everything gets addressed by Dev beta testing so this is a quick way to get a real world test and patch any issues
So right! It's beta, and if beta can address everything, then we won't need the numerous minor updates ever. Some people are so out of this world.

Fixing the crappier bluetooth and cellular strength would be great too. And the lag since moving to iOS9 on my iPhone 6. Wife's iPhone 6 still on iOs 8x is much snapper and side by side has better signal.

What I've found so far is that my iPhone 6 has gone mad, while the iPad Air 2 is taking it really well, apart from some weird Safari compatibility issues with certain websites.

On the phone:

- generally laggy. Everything is slower, the animations are crippled
- apps don't update/they get stuck halfway/can't delete them
- font is REALLY annoying and I hate the fact that I can't change it. Although it has a dear name, it should've been called Xiaomi, cause it only makes me think of cheap copies
- cellular drops

There are also positives:

- Spotlight conversions - extremely useful, it's essentially the Google bar of Amdroid but enhanced.
- the "Back to" button
- picture in picture for Facetime
- selection of multiple photos by just sliding finger in gallery
- notes app - really good job, I was able to draw something after my notes and it actually looked..readable.
- no more cripple on AirPlay through Apple TV. I can't believe this is gone, I just hope they fix it in OS X EC as well.
- search in settings, had no idea that could be SO useful

I'm a bit reluctant to do any update going forward. I thought this was supposed to be about reliability in the first place. I know and understand the marketing behind it. Make it really laggy, so you would encourage your install base to upgrade. But you would think they would at least iron out the obvious bits and pieces.

I'd say bricking iPhones (the Setup issue) was pretty serious. Anything that imperils customer data goes to the top of the class in my view (certainly does where I work). That particular one wouldn't necessarily have been caught by the beta either (there was no such thing as an OTA update from iOS 8.4.x to a beta build).

Glad the APN issue is fixed too. O2 in the UK were hit pretty hard by that one.

Yeah, I hadn't noticed the changelist when I posted. In that case, it is something they likely found when it went public, and so 9.0.1 was released on an accelerated schedule to address it ASAP. But yeah, if they knew about it before it went public last week, I would have actually expected them to delay it.

Is anyone else having an issue with Siri?
Occasionally when i press the home button Siri activates. If that isn't enough, when i go to put in my passcode it often doesn't register the 1st number?

I do sometimes have Siri activate when I press the home button (and I don't hold it down long enough for Siri to activate). I have a friend with a iPhone 6 that also sees that issue and there is a Reddit thread with a few people with that issue as well.

What are you on? iOS 9 has been out for seven days and we already have a x.x.x update. If you were on Android, you'd be waiting at least 27 years.

Not if you buy a stock Android phone such as the nexus (a google device), which btw kills the iPhone.

Wondering if this will fix the lag on the 6 Plus.

It doesn't. Mine is still all stuttery on app switching, etc. Bluetooth keeps crapping out between the Watch (Watch OS2) and any other Bluetooth paired device, etc. In short, still a buggy mess.

So, I guess the moral of this story is, say what you like about Forestall, but when he ran the shop, the number of defects per release were a heck of a lot fewer. The kinder, gentler Apple apparently can't get anyone to work hard enough to ship good code.

Airplay still NOT working. Thanks Apple ✌️

I've had problems with Airplay since iOS 8.0. With 9.0 I noticed if I am playing music on my iPhone and then select my Airplay speaker it won't do anything for a few seconds and then go back to playing on my iPhone's speakers. However, if I pause the music first, then choose my Airplay speaker it will work.

Apple how about releasing iTunes 12.3.1 for all OS X versions 2009 and newer like the Windows 7 version.

I hope it fixes a few critical bugs about SpriteKit...
Apple totally borked their own gaming engine in 9.0...

Edit : It's not fixed. Seriously, Apple ????

my 6 Plus just can't handle iOS 9 - anyone else?

first i updated to 9 OTA; the screen wouldn't accept any touch input and it would freeze completely from time to time. then i did a Reset All Settings, and the phone got stuck at one of the loading screens.

i then DFU'd and did a clean install of iOS 9 - same symptoms after that. now i'm back to iOS8.

did 9.0.1 fix anything for 6 Plus users?
