Wondering if this will fix the lag on the 6 Plus.
Jesus I am usually a fanboi and try to ignore any reports but holy F is my iPhone 6 Plus slow with iOS 9!!!!!!! Im flipping out because it's as slow as my iPhone 4 I use for testing. I'm very very unhappy. Surely this can't stay like this. If so I have lost faith in Apple for the first time in many years of using only Apple products.

What's with this update?… I downloaded twice only 2 minutes away from a complete download then it said there was an error!

Really ticked off right now!

I get tons of updates for apps that haven't actually been updated. But I don't think it's related to iOS 9.0.1, since it also happens in iTunes. They screwed something up in the app store.
I'm having the same issue. The only solution I've found so far, so that the app store badge icon displays correctly is to "install" the apps in the app store on the iPhone. Then in iTunes, I do the updates for the apps and then do a sync. Very annoying. Hope this gets fixed quickly.

my 6 Plus just can't handle iOS 9 - anyone else?

first i updated to 9 OTA; the screen wouldn't accept any touch input and it would freeze completely from time to time. then i did a Reset All Settings, and the phone got stuck at one of the loading screens.

i then DFU'd and did a clean install of iOS 9 - same symptoms after that. now i'm back to iOS8.

did 9.0.1 fix anything for 6 Plus users?

Early on, the iPhone 6 Plus's had one sort of storage (faster but it had issues) - after launch of the 6 Plus, they swapped back to another sort due to issues with it. - TLC to MLC (google iphone 6 plus tlc issue) you may have that issue? Likely if you got it checked at Apple they could check \
(You can check with an app like PerformanceTest Mobile)

I installed 9.0.1, and it seems to have removed all of the app updates that I've installed over the past week. I now have 20 pending app updates, dating back to September 15. And I'm absolutely sure that I installed all of them previously.

Same here.

Just installed ios 9.01 on a 5s via itunes. Did a restore iphone. Everything seems to be good.No difference from ios 9.0.

You could read the release notes and find out? This does sound like one of the bugs that was fixed, but you'd have to read about it to be sure.

I just installed it on my iPad with no issues, although did not have any issues with ios9 either.

Lol don't get angry at me that you can't formulate and structure a question properly.

I can't imagine that there would be many fixes beyond the release notes. It's kind of black and white dude. If it's not in the release notes then it's probably not fixed.

You'll most likely be waiting till November till 9.1 is released. Even then, 9.1 is considered a major sub-release as it's main focus is to deliver new features. AKA, 9.0.1 is the bug fix for 9.0. When 9.1 is released, the new features will be buggy and require 9.1.1. You could be waiting decades for iOS to be stable.

Either you bite the bullet now or wait forever. Heck, who knows if we'll even wake up tomorrow?

That's not true at all. There have been updates not specifically pointed out in the notes that have been optimized or fixed. For instance, many people are complaining over frame rates and speeds currently, yet nothing is listed in the notes. Heck, even when this is addressed, they probably won't admit it in a pin-point update memo.

Forever huh? Did you ever consider iOS 8 to be stable? If so, then what point? Maybe that is the same point I will consider iOS to be stable enough to upgrade.

I am not angry at you, I just don't find people such as yourself to be very helpful. If anything, you seem to be an angry and rather rude person.

the iPhone 6s Plus's 4K camera is insane!!!

Wow! Great find. Only watching in 1440P, but it still looks awesome on my iMac. Must look great on a 5K unit.

One of the major issue with iOS 9.0/9.0.1 that has been reported on the Apple Discussion Forums as well as Apple Developer Forums at length is the inability to join a Wi-Fi network where a) SSID is Hidden (not broadcasted) and/or b) MAC Address Filtering is enabled. I've tested and verified this multiple times with my home Linksys WRT1900AC and iPhone 6. This behavior is not seen in the previous iOS 8.x versions. Hence I've downgraded back to 8.4.1 till Apple can fix it. This is not a hardware but a software issue specifically as some people using Apple TV have reported the same. Even Apple Support claim to admit this issue, but no clue on when/if this will get fixed. 9.0.1 is already out and does not fix it. Fingers crossed that 9.1 may fix it. Anyone else seeing this behavior and confirm?. Thanks

d00d, everyone and their dog is trying to download i0S 9.whateva right now - foolishly I might add, too much heat out there right now. Patience Jedi...

Yes, that's why me and my 75" Samsung 4K TV love 4K video.

Congratulations.

Glad I haven't updated my iPod touch to iOS 9 yet, might as well get all the minor updates at once in a week or so. :)
Probably a good idea, I have updated and it's a bit laggy especially in some apps and the most frustrating thing is if your listening to an album and it goes to sleep it takes you back to the My Music screen again and you've got to re-find what you're listening to again if you want to skip a song or whatever.

I can confirm that this is not a 9.0.1 issue - I'm seeing the same problem on two devices that are still on 9.0, and have not been updated to 9.0.1.

Just stay with iOS 8.1.4 - there is no need to update to 9. It obviously has some hiccups. My guess is the software jump is in place to tend to the new phones with the touch 3D, etc and it's just causing issues with non touch 3D phones. Either workload or some odd coding within the software. I reverting back to 8.1.4 and couldn't be happier! I have no problem patiently waiting until a really good fix is in place.

Lag or no lag, at least we don't have to deal with android OS. What a horrid, confusing OS that is.

I don't find any lag with iOS 9. I have 6 plus I also have iPhone 5s on iOS 9 no issues at all.

Is this to your Apple TV? What version? Latest software. Thanks for the feedback. It's helping formulate my decision in upgrading. May wait till 9.0.2 or 9.1 as I use this feature frequently.

AppleTV 2 / iPhone 6 both updated to The lastest versions

I'm using AirPlay right now on my 9.0.1 6 Plus to listen to music.

Try video. Will not work
