Apple will probably stop signing iOS 8 at any moment. They're currently signing 3 versions at once.

Did you even bother to read the article?

Since you can't read:

- Fixes an issue where some users could not complete setup assistant after updating
- Fixes an issue where sometimes alarms and timers could fail to play
- Fixes an issue in Safari and Photos where pausing video could cause the paused frame to appear distorted
- Fixes an issue where some users with a custom APN setup via a profile would lose cellular data

Thanks for being so courteous and kind with your genuine response. It really helps the community here grow as a collective.

Maybe I should have been more specific. Are there any major issues that a particular user was experiencing that was not listed here but this update addressed for them?

Is that better for you?

Does it fix this? I haven't seen or heard yet. https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7220722?tstart=0

Sounds like it was a bug in Beta which was never addressed or resurfaced!

I installed 9.0.1, and it seems to have removed all of the app updates that I've installed over the past week. I now have 20 pending app updates, dating back to September 15. And I'm absolutely sure that I installed all of them previously.

this is interesting: same happened with my phone today but before I installed 9.0.1..!

I can't wait for all my tech unsavvy friends to throw a hissy fit that "they JUST updated their phone the other day"

I just updated to iOS9 last night. I was waiting for Watch OS2 so I could upgrade both, and last night is the first chance I got. This should be a quick and easy update though.

After 9.0.1 install, my iPad Air 2 could not connect to cellular data, but powering off and on fixed it.

So if you get "No service", try that.

Whew. Was worried there for a bit.

3] What's the build number?
4] I hope it fixed [problem]

Werd. Mostly "I hope it fixed the battery drain issue." which is really that they use some battery hog app all the time rather than an actual issue with the phone or OS.

Is anyone else having an issue with Siri?
Occasionally when i press the home button Siri activates. If that isn't enough, when i go to put in my passcode it often doesn't register the 1st number?

no BS... my 6 Plus was realllllly laggy after ios9, after 9.0.1 there is still a little stutter pulling down for spotlight, but a lot of the overall lagginess seems to be gone for me. Still not as smooth as ios 8.4.1, but not too bad. Oh well, 2 days until I get my 6 Plus S.

There is this wifi bug apparently, had it on iOS 9.0 and now on 9.0.1 too.
On iPad Air 2, it all becomes absolutely laggy and you can notice the wifi signal going on/off during that time.
It took 2-3 days before to get fixed, think the same amount of time of 9.0.1?

- Did not notice on iPhone 6, just the iPad Air 2.

-
Video of it on 9.0, it's the same problem on 0.1 update.
Although now that I have just kept it on Airplane mode and it's smooth as butter!! :S
So definitely a wifi bug? Anyone?

(Final edit) - It fixed when I did a force restart with the airplane mode on! Sorry for the rant
lol!! :oops::D

Yes, I'm seeing that issue as well. I have to wait to enter my passcode, otherwise the first press is not registered.

You must be doing it wrong. ;-) Because according to "Keirasplace", this is "objectively" a great release! Woo!

This is some *&#*(&(%#.
anecdote isn,t proof, but being in public beta and not seeing major issues is; calling someone out when you got nothing is pretty poor form.

A release that nearly bricks a phone, so slow it is unusable, like several older versions is objectively worse, no question.

You did say worse ever and not merely having a few bugs didn't you buddy.
