Boring has been good for a while. I don't care if it's Apple or Google or Microsoft. A boring update that makes my device run better is what I prefer.

Here's how you turn on AT&T NumberSync. It wasn't readily apparent after updating to 9.2:

- Update to 9.2
- Go to Settings --> General --> About and you will be prompted to install a carrier update. That took my 6 from 23.0 to 23.1.
- After installing the carrier update, go to Settings --> Phone --> Calls on Other Devices
- You'll have the option in there to activate AT&T NumberSync.

I just activated it and I got a pop up on my Mac and iPhone within about 30 seconds of activating it saying it was ready to use. Now on my iPhone under Settings --> Phone, instead of saying "When Nearby" next to Allow Calls on Other Devices, it simply says "On".

If you activate the feature and Move the cursor and then try to reactivate it won't. I've had a bug report open since 9.0 with Apple.

And the 3D Touch trackpad activation bug is still there. Oh wells.

You are one of the few that has also experienced this bug, from what I have read. This has been driving me crazy, personally. I can highlight text via 3d touch initially, but after that it just doesn't activate for me. I have to keep trying or even delete the words and start over/go out and back into the app

You guys check your pictures? Mine have vanished from about 90 days back and earlier. Thousands of them. A placeholder is there, but no thumbnail, and if I push edit or share, it says "Cannot Load Photo, There was an error loading this photo." Yikes. iPhone 6s.

***EDIT*** after a restore from backup, now my pics go back through all of 2015, but all years before back to 2011 no longer exist. WTH? Hoping the data is still restoring, but this is really strange compared to previous updates. Fingers crossed.

Good to hear.. please keep me/us posted if possible. I am frustrated that 9.2 is basically beta 4. I also am experiencing just general weird sluggishness at times along with terrible battery life.

I have a problem I got 9.2 beta 4 on my iphone 6 right now but i want get off the beta and go staright too the final version 9.2 since drop today how can I update my phone 9.2 final version

The beta 4 IS the final version (one and the same) If you want off beta delete the beta profile in the settings app and you will not be prompted for any more and you will be all set.

But still, that's unusual for Apple to release a beta to the public, unless it's a GM.

Or you have it backwards. Beta 4 was the GM and final release as of today.

Yes, this is 9.2.

I did reduce transparancy, doesn't help. Even if it would help, it's not acceptable because it makes iOS 9 ugly and it worked fine with iOS 8.4.1.

Apple should make iOS better, not worse.

Well..that can't be help. I mean apple decides what we get...just gotta make the best of it.

Mine works perfect landscape and portriat. Butter smooth. Much better than before when I had to play around to get correct touch pressure.

My favorite things:

I hope it fixes an issue I have on my iPad Air 2. For some reason my apps get stuck when updating and I have to keep clicking on them to get them to start over and finish. So basically this prevents automatic updates from happening as they keep getting stuck. Anyone else experience this? It's mildly annoying but I haven't looked into it much.

This happens to me too!! Then if some update, it leaves the "1" symbol indicating it has to be updated and it won't disappear until I update the next batch of apps.

That's not how that works. That means they there weren't any release blocking issues.

Not sure if AT&T NumberSync is supposed to work on OS X El Capitan on an iMac (Update: I've since learned that the feature is supposed to work on OS X El Capitan), but iOS 9.2 sure makes one think that it is (note the new wording on iOS 9.2 which says "even when your iPhone is not nearby."):



However, I simulated the iPhone "not being nearby" by putting it into Airplane Mode, and a test phone call from my iMac fails each and every time:



As soon as I go off Airplane Mode, I'm once again able to place my test phone call.
