On my monitor I have to move the Artist/Song list to the right almost 60% of the screen before it resizes....that isn't a solution. I'm going to be a tad cranky if I can't manually reduce the size of the album art. It is annoyingly large.
Agreed, but it's all I've got. I only figured it out by opening iTunes on my Mini Server with huge art and my portait-oriented Dell display showing tiny art. I'm not thrilled with this either...

trying to update, so I can fix my 6s. app store refuses to update. just starts over after it downloads

Thank you for the reply. Can't remember the last time I did a fresh iTunes install.

I take it you had no problems with it recognising the Apps, Music etc in your library?

I'm in the UK on Windows 10 too. Wonder if this is a geographical download server problem?

EDIT - just noticed that sbailey4 is in the US, which rules that theory out.

Not sure if it was simply coincidence, but the iTunes update suddenly downloaded when I ejected all devices (iphones / ipads) from within the iTunes window. For the record they were still connected via wifi rather than physically (USB).

I also can't connect to my iCloud library. Really annoying.

That said, I'm digging the new design. I can finally access all the radio stations, and the album views when browsing by artist have been adjusted so that the length of the album name doesn't cut off the year of the album. That used to peeve me big time, and I had to rename all the 'Special Edition', 'Remastered' etc bits off the end to make it fit.

No good. In your Library/Recently Added I don't like the big letters This Month, Last 3 Months - just have the small album art all in a row according to recently added, that's all they have to do.

Hit my first bug within 1 minute.

I use iCloud music library. I have music in iCloud but not on my Mac. So I find an iCloud album, and hit the download button.

iTunes tells me the T&C have been updated and I need to accept them. Okay.

T&C come up. I check the check box. Then I get this:

View attachment 651072
This keeps coming up. I can't access any of my iCloud music. Restarting iTunes and restarting my Mac don't fix it.

Any ideas? If I click on the More Info button, it just loads the main Apple Support website in Safari.

Same problem here. I am not able to use my library. Why can't they release an update where things will just work? That was something they were good at for a long time.

Pretty much. My message is different "Unable to Connect to iCloud Music Library," but the end result is the same. Sad.
I'm also getting the "Unable to Connect to iCloud Music Library" message and it pops up about every 5 minutes. Pretty annoying in addition to not being able to play or download iCloud songs. I'm able to log into my iTunes account ok.

Hopefully an explanation will arise soon.

Minor but annoying - the recent drop down to select music/movies/tv

Major and still annoying - the disconnect between Apple Music and the iTunes Store. I like browsing the store, it's easy to find what I want there. So why can't I add music to Apple Music from there? I have to go into For You and find the same thing, then add it. It's needlessly complicated. They should have "purchase" and "+" in the same section.
Funny, that drop down is one of the best things they've done, in my view. Creates a much clearer division of labor between the different functions of the app.
But I do agree on the disconnect between the store and apple music. I suspect its something to do with the fact that iCloud Music Library and Apple Music remain, as yet, separate services. But yes, something I hope can be addressed in future.

I'm also getting "unable to connect to iCloud music library," also, the "for you" tab on iTunes and my iPhone and iPad all are showing "Apple Music..An error occurred, Try again"

I had to download the new iTunes 12.5.1 before continuing with the new IOS 10. The "gotcha" is that my music in iCloud is not longer available. Complete loss of connectivity with the new iTunes. Probably should have waited a few days as often advised.
cannot connect to icloud.png

Now I'm pretty much hosed. Will wait a while, then roll back via Time Machine.

What happened to the ability to switch between seeing the music you have added/downloaded for a given artist and all of their available music? It used to be at the top of each Artist page (I think there was "My Music" and "Artist" options).
