How is paragon (NTFS for Mac) working? Their KB says: "The current version NTFS for Mac 15.5.53 remains functional after installation under macOS 10.14 and macOS upgrade to 10.15 Beta." Is this still true in final release?
Second. I also need to use Paragon!
Just update to the latest v15.5.62 then it is working.

Like many people, I plan to hold off on Catalina for a while until I'm sure I won't miss 32-bit app support.

Does Apple continue to provide downloads for older OS's (e.g. Mojave) for a long period of time? I'm wondering how hard it will be if I need to install or re-install Mojave six or 18 months down the road.
Download it now, while you still can, to be safe.

How many like myself are using a 32 bit version of PhotoShop?
You know, the pay once installed version that works great and needs no update which I use almost daily.
I won't be upgrading to Catalina because I won't be taking out a monthly subscription from Adobe.
Adobe must be over the moon about this update.
I kinda just moved to other editors...

Same 8.09 GB, but my download time was 5 minutes (I’ve got a fast connection). Working on installing now.
I have a fast internet connection but it’s stalling. It took about an hour to download the first time then it threw up an error saying it couldn’t verify. Started the downloading the update all over again and crawling at a snails pace.

Ok I have some issues with the new apps that are split from iTunes. It feels like iOS now, which I don't like.
First off, in Music when you open an Album, it doesn't open it on the same page as before, it opens a new page - which I definitely not enjoy.
In Podcasts - I used to have podcasts that I wasn't subscribed and was able to stream episodes either I downloaded them or not. Now they don't show up at all.
In Books - I used to have Audiobooks that were split into chapters. Now I can't even open up to see what's playing.

Another weird gimmick - starting to play a podcast should stop music from playing.

Ha
This update is killing Team Fortress 2 on the Mac due to the 64-bit requirement.

TF2 is a very casual game for me. Every now and then I jump on a server, have some fun, and jump out. It's not going to be worth it for me to get a Windows machine or a boot camp partition to keep playing, which means when I finally do upgrade to Catalina I'll probably be done with TF2.

This makes me extremely sad. All because Apple developed this weird hatred of 32 bit code.
Have you considered running Mojave in a VM?

Mine rebooted and it’s stuck on the black screen with Apple logo and ‘Estimating time remaining...’ with the progress bar at about 10% and it’s been like that for about an hour now. Reboot with button at the back do you think? Doesn’t look like anything is happening.

Same here, I restarted the computer and then the download was fast, just a few minutes for 8 GB.

I still have rare occasion to use CS 5.5, but that has been wonky on macOS for multiple releases now, so I finally just set up a 10.7 VM to run it as it doesn't give me any grief. So when I eventually go to Catalina, I'll continue to use the VM to run it.

how did you create a usb stick? with Catalina the old method does not work
once it actually downloads I will try to work it out you will need a 16gb stick as it is now over 8gb not the 4gb of previous releases
