What is with this 'dark theme' stuff. Ever since it was applied, it shows off a light leak in the bottom left corner of the screen that I never knew I had. Very distracting and obviously impact re-sale value. Doesn't show with lighter background that set as default, but the bootup sand dunes reminds me every time.

The 10.14.4 update bricked two of our iMac Pros... anyone else having trouble? Working with Apple to recover them now. They KP on boot in the network driver somewhere.

Ah, my good old mid-2010 Mac Pro. Shoved an RX580 in it and it's now Mojave compatible and still updating without a problem and running like a champ. I doubt Apple will ever make a Mac as good as this again. (Although fingers crossed for a preview at WWDC!)

If you have a 2016-2018 MacBook Pro, it's probably the faulty display cable.

the 2018 model has different display cable

Is there a way that I don't see to disable the "Allows push notification prompts only after interacting with a website " entirely?

I don't want to be prompted at all

Was anybody able to test if it fixes the laggy mouse issues when connected to external screens via USB3?

Because you don't have the option to keep your Mac up to date selected.

You are not correct.

The option to keep your mac up to date simply means it will apply the updates automatically, whether or not you go to the software update pane.

Whenever you go to software update it WILL show you available updates if you’re NOT on the current version.

So there is something wrog with his software update function.

I’d suggest a full restart, and if the updates still dont show up in the software update pane then he needs to download the combo update and hopefully that will fix whatever voodoo he has going on with his update pane.

Thanks for info and looking forward for updates how it's going to be resolved...

Ever since updating to the latest version of Mac OS Mojave I am having some problems. When trying to open the News app it opens fine but crashes a few seconds later. I have tried restarting and it isn't fixing the problem. Does anyone have any recommendations on what I can do to fix this problem?

I haven't updated yet and my weather widgets don't work either. They stopped about 4 days ago. As soon as someone remembers to throw a switch in the server room, they'll start working again. ;)

I hope they will push for eGPU support. For the moment it is still unstable and unreliable, especially for Radeon Vega VII...

Oof, I upgraded to the Mojave update and when I restart, finder IS loaded, the dock and top are there, I can use alfred to open finder and i can use it.. But the desktop is missing finder now, no stacks of stuff, nothing there.

:S

I believe 10.14.4 causes a problem with Disk Utility.

I tried to run first aid after I updated and I'm getting a corruption problem in two different machines. I run the disk utility in the volume which is inside the container disk1 ( I don't know how else to describe it ) First time the check runs fine. If I run the first aid second time I get the error:

First Aid found corruption that needs to be repaired. To repair the startup volume, run First Aid from Recovery.

Under the details it's mentioned:
First Aid will temporarily lock the startup volume.

Yes, news app worked fine after upgrade yesterday and it crashes today on all macOS based computers.

News crashes on all our iOS devices. Can't test on macOS as the OS update bricked two of our Macs. News on iOS worked for a bit yesterday, so maybe it's a server-side issue.
