So glad to not have this OCD anymore. Now, just update the damn thing and move on with my life. So much more relaxing.
Anyone figure out why I can't load this on a 2009 MBP but I can load it on a 2009 MB?
I don't have courage to install 10.12. I am waiting for 10.12.1.
I have it on mine and it works great considering I have a Solid State Hybrid Drive. No way in hell I'm putting this on my mid 2010 MBP. I need it to keep chugging on until Apple decides to finally blow our skirt up with a new MBP.
Anyone going to upgrade their macbook air 2011?
I waited almost six months before I upgraded my 2015 MBP and 2012 MBP. My 2012 Mini still hasn't upgraded.Alright folks, if you haven't learned from last week - you might want to wait a little before downloading. And definitely backup your system with Time Machine or a cloning solution.
I'm out. Still using and enjoying my early 2008 24" 3.04GHz iMac running OS X El Capitan (10.11).
We can help you with that, if you want?2008 Mac Pro.![]()
Naa. I feel like a fresh install helps my MacBook to keep running at maximum speed now it's getting on a bit. Flush out the hidden files and the stuff uninstalled apps always leave behind. I don't mind doing it, it's a pretty easy process and doesn't take too long at all. At the end of it my MacBook feels brand new.
If we had the GM2 install 16A323, do we need to reinstall this final version or are we okay?
to get mac os build version # simply do thiscat "/Applications/Install macOS Sierra.app/Contents/Info.plist" | grep -A 1 DTSDKBuild
<key>DTSDKBuild</key>
<string>16A322</string>
edit: ignore this, apparently this isn't a reliable way of extracting the build number..
it is not showing in updates tab, and it's seen already "downloaded" in the app store...If it isn't showing in updates tab, just search for Sierra in the Mac App Store and download that.
I have to put this customary comment in...... but is safari snappier?
