We need something that’s in between MR and Apple Insider. The former is way to negative, the latter is the complete opposite. After reading the relentlessly negative replies here, I wish there was a way to delete my account from this forum (but it appears there isn't an option anywhere?). It's become a dire, soulless place...
No, really? I had no idea!Did you know that advertising is important for actually convincing people to buy your product? Are you aware of this?
Name one good one from Apple over the last few years?
Erm...what?Apple is the company that pushed so hard to make everything clean, minimal, plain white, plain aluminum, no color, no soul. And now they bring some color back and they act like it was their idea all along. how revolutionary.
I guess now it only makes sense for you to post an ad you think is good so you can also be judged subjectively.Ehh to each their own
It hard to believe that every Apple employee isn't cringing (then scratching their heads) after seeing this abomination. This ad has got to be a new low. Really lame. Definitely does more harm than good.
I hate to admit I enjoyed it somehow too. It was weird and disjointing but I couldn’t look away.Well this is going to be unpopular. I enjoyed it. I assumed they were talking about the screen--hence the reference to the screen at the end. The ad doesn't end with, "Now available in a flood of colors." The ad ends with "Make Room for Color. Liquid Retina Display." I found it visually arresting and entertaining to watch.
Orange (coral) is offered because I bought two of them but I do not understand the use of purple. Extra jumpsuits lying around?Meh, its an ad. The people that like to complain will find something to complain about with it.
I don't really understand why they used purple and orange as the phone isn't offered in these colors, but it's just an ad.

It must be so cool to be critical of other's work. Why would people be cringing over an expression that employed hundreds of talented people and got approval from Apple's marketing team, the same ones that have set the standard of tech advertising in this century? Don't bother answering because I don't want to hear your justifications. It hard to believe that every Apple employee isn't cringing (then scratching their heads) after seeing this abomination. I don't know how they don't understand how negativity just attracts more negativity, and drives more positive members away. I've been a member for 15 years, and have frequently thought of just abandoning this place in the last few years. After reading the relentlessly negative replies here, I wish there was a way to delete my account from this forum (but it appears there isn't an option anywhere?).
