A trade in program? That's brilliant! That's going to push a lot more sales to OWC. I thought the only did drives.
what do you mean wrong about the nano?
I got mine in the apple store for 2299$ with an apple 30gb ipod and they said it qualifies for the ipod student rebate and ill get back 200$
My free iPod shipped already, but not the MBP. They all said 1-3 days (not "within 24 hours"), so I wouldn't expect any to ship today.
so now all macbook pro get LED display. but what's the difference from high resolution screen which is only option for 17-inch model?
And when will the MacBooks, iMacs, 17" MacBook Pros and Cinema Displays will have LED-lit displays?

I would not care but problem was that I had 2400$ available on my 2500$ credit card limit this morning. I did a 150$ payment early in the morning to put the 2538$ amount on it. I was hoping there would not be any problems on it. The iPod was charged but not the MBP. Everything is fine then

So you use the ADC 20% discount and still got the $200 rebate for the iPod? Hmm this would be an awesome deal if thats what you did.
so since they higher end 15" and 17" run at 2.4ghz, does that mean they'll interfere with 802.11b/g networks and cordless phones?

oh, never mind. high resolution display is 1920x1200. yeah, as you said, LED is only for 15-inch.
Well actually, I had an old AMD K6-2 500 that would always interfere with radio reception. And no other computer in the house did that...
With all the EMI tape packed into a Mac I doubt it would interfere.
Now that's nice...

in case people want to know other makers of the items used or they had other questions as to specific details items had or what it comes with
It would be very nice if you happen to have boot camp installed on that... to run Astra32 and tell us the make and model of the screens Apple used in that machine.

I actually had the same issue only I ordered mine May 7th. Maybe because I ordered it through my university bookstore they didn't want to ship a student the old version. But now I have to wait 2 more weeks for the new one when I originally wanted it last month.
Let's not get ahead of ourselves here. Does the MBP have a (I quote) 8700?
Hey, what do you know? It doesn't too.
Two possible problems...
1. No new Boot Camp Drivers for the new MBP.
2. No SATA drivers for the Windows XP installer (Well maybe Intel has some...)
