Where are all you guys getting the iPhone OS 2.0 image?
iTunes tells me version 1.1.4 is the current version.
I didn't even want to update (yet), just wondering...
(I did update iTunes earlier today.)
Safari seems snappier...
Sorry, couldn't help it.
As the mood of the forum is lifting, I'm going to go for it, wish me luck![]()

Well the first thing one might say is why didn't you wait for the official release, with that being said I just wanted to ask if anyone has had these problems while using several programs with the New 2.0 software upgrade for the iPhone.
Do you get programs exiting before you exit, seems like a crash and it happened with many programs so far, games, utilities... etc. Just general unstable behavior since the upgrade.
Thanks in advance![]()

I've been on the official 2.0 for a while and it's stable. No bugs or anything so far yet. I hope most everyone had the update by now. It's great. My favorite game right now is Cube Runner. I advise everyone to check it out. I have super monkey ball but it's super hard. So I just play Cube Runner.![]()
Wow, what terrible journalism. The article doesn't even say anything concretely negative about the iPhone itself, much less anything about an infestation of software bugs.
I'm surprised they can legally get away with that kind of title.

Downloaded the official update and the update replaced yesterday's update in all of about 20 min. It all went quite well. Thank you for the file...
So I was foolish enough to update using the pre-release 2.0 update and now I'm not sure what's going wrong. Seems other people have been able to use the restore tool to update to the latest 2.0 firmware. When I press Restore I get an error with no number telling me "the resource" is missing (or something along those lines.) Anyways, I got the new .ipsw and did the restore and the check for update by manually choosing the new firmware file and they both seem to have gone through...Is my phone really updated though? How can I tell?
