Unfortunately nothing like that is mentioned in the update log but I really it fixes this issue. It's been annoying me for quite some time now...
I thought I was the only one until now. Just updated — hope I don't have anymore system crashes.

Great idea! Don't install those filthy applications on your computer! What would you need them for? Work? /sHas been released and I have downloaded same
What on earth are you guys doing to your system that causes issues ? Not with Yosemite or this current OS have I had any problems. Of course I don't fool around with things. Everything stock and all have worked well. Only downloaded app would be a weather app.

What used to happen?so will my rMBP finally shut down properly?
I experienced only one instance of freezing in that manner on my 13" rMBP. the most recent beta for 10.11.5 apparently had not fixed the issue yet. I've only been running 10.11.5 for about an hour but I haven't had any freezes time will tell, also this thread. Sounds like some people fee that 10.11.5 beta 4 solved the issue for them, some people still seem to experience the freeze. Someone on the thread suggested that it was intel HD Graphics driver related.Any word on whether this fixes (or attempts to fix) the system freeze issues from 10.11.4 on 13" rMBPs?
Did 10.11.3 cause your display to shut off and then never wake back up?
Yup, that's what I have as permanent setting. No idea why it won't show up especially as the iMac had no problems.Set your DNS to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4, I did this before and it showed up, and I am in the Netherlands too, had that happen to me before and setting the DNS to Googles DNS seems to always work.
[doublepost=1463429738][/doublepost]YES! - Although not on 10.11.5 as I had to downgrade to 10.11.3 to resolve. Thought my USB bus was going (late 2011 MBP). Stumbled across the freeze issue in 10.11.4. on the forum and tried downgrading "just in case". Problem solved by the earlier version. Now definitely not planning to upgrade to 10.11.5. In other words -- I don't think it's your hardware.Anyone else actually experiencing this issue? If not, then its probably a hardware issue, not a software issue, if you think its a software issue, did you do a clean install and see if does the same thing? If you assumed its OS X without any real trouble-shooting and no else has a similar issue, perhaps its time to dig a little deeper..
758 Megabytes on my Retina late-2013 MBP on 10.11.4.
Do you still have this problem with 10.11.5? What Mac are you using?I bet no one has my issue.
I have Wi-Fi turned off in system preferences and my Wi-Fi will turn itself on randomly.
Can't figure out why or how to stop it from doing it.
