What on earth are you guys doing to your system that causes issues ? Not with Yosemite or this current OS have I had any problems. Of course I don't fool around with things. Everything stock and all have worked well. Only downloaded app would be a weather app.

I'm afraid your parents wanted to buy you a Lego for your birthday but somehow got you a macbook.

I'm just here to see what new catastrophes the OS X team have cooked up before I apply the update.

It Just Works. Unless it just doesn't.

I've been having issues with Safari, where it appears to be unresponsive for a second, particularly while scrolling. Really hope it's fixed!

Have you tried Safari Technology Preview??? Found it very responsive "snappier" and has become my preferred browser.

Updated 2010 MBP all good approx 758Mb.

So far it looks like 2 OS updates and 2 software updates all released in one day. Nice lead up to WWDC no?

Concur with Safari experience of other users post update, there genuinely seems to be less it any beach balling. Noticed it lots on 2012 mac mini which was more annoying. Will update tomorrow and see how that goes.

Given how shonky Apple releases have been lately I'm going to hold off on this one, for a week or two just so that any bugs in it can be brought to light before I install on my late 2012 iMac

One little thing I noticed: my Logic Pro file icons no longer look like the app's icon; they actually show the content.

I like the iTunes redesign. It's nice to have the sidebar back.

I've used the public beta. It was, all four versions, problem-free, except for a slight problem with my Bluetooth devices, after a long idle, disappearing, needing a restart and new pairing to get going. (I should say that I have an Early 2009 iMac, so it doesn't have Bluetooth 4.0. It must have been just below the sensitivity of the older Bluetooth version I have. But the next beta came out and it was all fixed. The startup password window also comes right up with a touch of the keyboard, after many versions taking a while to awake.

Strange... after updating, suddenly I cannot move any files to the trash. It doesn't matter what file, in what directory, I always get the error: The operation cannot be completed because one or more required items cannot be found. Error code -43.

It now recognizes by Western My Passport Air using the MultiAdaptor for USB-C port on my new Macbook 2016. Saved me a trip to the Apple Store this afternoon
Nice. I had that bug with the beta of 10.11.5. Nice to see that it is fixed.

In the Mac App Store, are the forward and back page animations like the ones in Safari new with this update? I don't recall those being there.

Update seems very solid.

Is this serious?
Btw with all the apps out there why would you only download a weather app when all that info is a click away on a web browser.

I feel the same way. Unless these few actually did get a lemon of a Mac.
A common theme going on at MR forums. If the poster is not experiencing an issue that others are reporting, it must be made up or a hardware issue.

I have the late 2012 27" iMac and the GTX 680MX 2048 MB.

Updated with no issues yet.
Thanks, I might give it a try.

I haven't experienced the freezing like others have, and am slightly worried that any update might screw up my devices. I did not use to feel that way.
