This update fixed the quick wake up for the '11 Airs... partially. There is no longer a hang of 6-7 seconds, but sometimes it doesn't awake with a touchpad movement, and sometimes it turns on as I open the screen.. needs a little updating still.

Still got a chirping sound from the CPU board when the system is idle (3.2GHz Mac Pro). Sounds like a soundcard listening into the bus on very old PCs. Does not occur running SL or W7. Still dissapointed :(

Wow, the first time my 2011 macbook air has frozen and locked up on me was an hour after this update. Not the greatest start..

Mmhhh.... no mention of fixing Mail and its schizophrenic behavior? (sometimes it just doesn't download/upload, sent emails remain in the draft folder repeated 10 times, crashes all the time, etc, etc...)

Please tell me this has been fixed... Mail has been giving me a hard time lately, with the exact problems mentioned above

- Finder still won't remember my view options between restarts when in "All My Files" view.
Same with me but replace "All My Files" with Icon View. It's absolutely ridiculous. Even the behaviour of new folders gives me the *****. Never had this problem under Leopard or Snow Leopard. Apple, please fix Finder NOW!

Hahaha maybe i'm very lucky but i haven't had any of those problems so far. not running slow or hot at all, no black screen and no problem with video stream, some people say office stops working after update to lion, mine works just fine, hahah i guess i;m blessed. i have a 2010 13" MBP

Not really; like all updates, the minority with problems are more vocal.

That isn't even a bug.

Yeah, he knew that.

Battery Drains Fast With WiFi On Under 10.7.1

See title.

Haven't noticed this in 10.7.0.

If this has been posted, I apologize.

This thread is too long; I didn't read the whole thing.

After scrolling through reading a handful of the posts on this board, I'm really glad I'm still running snow leopard.

I'll hold out until Lion updates are very minor news in the Mac world, that's when you know the bugs are actually gone.

Yesterday i unboxed my new 27" iMac, applied this update today and it's running great. I guess it just boils down to specific machines or models. You will never know, unless you try it.

Try This for Mail

Please tell me this has been fixed... Mail has been giving me a hard time lately, with the exact problems mentioned above

My friends brand New, 3rd gen Macbook Air, was having all kinds of Mail issues under 10.7.0
We tried deleting and adding his email account (under Mail/Preferences/Accounts) repeatedly to see if things would improve. Still, all kinds of crap kept happening.

THEN,
it occurred to me that there is a new panel in System Preferences/Internet&Wireless called Mail, Contacts, & Calendars.

We used That to add the Mail account, and Mail has been working flawlessly and speedily ever since. :D

I had a problem with Safari becoming unresponsive even when NOT playing a video. I hope this update will fix that.
Lately, Safari has not been working properly, specially when having several pages opened.
Since I started using GlimmerBlocker to avoid those pesky Flash Ads, Safari has been better, but not good enough. Anyone else having similar issues?
Any difference with this new update?

Yes, I experienced those issues prior Update as well.
Most of the time though I was able to trace it back to plugins I´ve been using, such as 1Password. Safari usually showed me the Beachball when it was about to update a plugin.

Snap Happy

Yes, snappier is definitely the word. +1 here

That's just my first impression. I'll see soon enough what it fixed and maybe fixes things I didn't notice or improve upon them. I'm curious about the next update including iCloud and all. Should be soon now with this update out of the way. . . .Hmm

So far no audio problems for me. I would have experienced about 100 so far as long as I been using the new update. I was experiencing skip like sounds, cut outs from my iTunes when I would switch apps, or do anything cpu related. All is well so far on that front.

Mac Mini 2011 Display sleep bug

Any word about the display sleep bug on the new mac mini's being a thing of the past?

This really grinds my gears. I thought this update was supposed to fix my audio problem. I still can not get audio via HDMI unless I boot my MBP into Snow Leopard.

Sure there's nothing wrong with your MBP or perhaps the HDMI dongle? My girlfriend didn't have problems getting HDMI audio a couple of days ago. She has a 2010 MBP with Lion

This seems to have fixed the hang on flash video problem (not only in Safari but other Browsers as well).

However, the WiFi ist still erratic.

Still not instant though like it was supposedly though.

One thing I noticed is that Time machine has improved regarding scrolling a Finder Folder with many files. It was a bit choppy and unresponsive in 10.7.0 ( I sent feedback on this to Apple just yesterday). In fact my Time Machine experience in Lion is much improved over how it worked in SL.

Still a lot of problems not fixed with this update with a 2009 21.5' imac and a clean install . Apple is becoming like other releasing beta software and then fixing the known problems as they go .

Hope they release .2 quickly .

More to the point, lets hope .2 has bug fixes also. If it only adds iCloud, then obvious to say were in for whole bunch more bugs on top of what we already got.
