LOL. There's a poster going around voting down almost every post that reports that they still have a problem after updating Lion.

Seriously, why would someone do that?

Anyway, the wifi issue doesn't seem to be fixed yet. 27" iMac still having issues with staying connected. Oddly enough though, works fine in bootcamp Windows 7.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_2_10 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8E600 Safari/6533.18.5)

Does this update fix the monochrome sidebar in Finder and iTunes? I also hope it fixes the hideous faux calendar and address book. Other than those issues and the video crashes, it is a wonderful and advanced OS.

I have no idea what the wifi issues in the current release were, but now after updating, it seems like all my apple wifi products in my house are going hay-wire... My iPhones use my wifi network for like 20 seconds and then disconnect and go to edge/3g. Then recconnect about 2 minutes later. This happens on all my apple products (iphone, macbook pro's etc). It is quite annoying as my MBP will be out of commision entirely for these 2 minutes. Really puts a damper on things... And the only reason why I think it has to do with me updating lion is because its ONLY on my apple products (my windows products are flawless) so I doubt its within the rotuer.

I'm thinking of just re-installing with a torrent of the previous version. But does anyone know if it is possible to get the updates automatically for the torrented lion?

That isn't even a bug.

Uh, how could Lion on your computer affect your wifi connection on your phone?

Might want to reboot everything, including your router.

Super-deep freeze?

What's this? So I'm on 10.7.1, using my MBP. I open my 3rd tab in safari (full-screen mode), and then all of a sudden it froze. NOTHING at all worked. Caps wouldn't turn on (i tested by pressing and seeing no green light indicator), no special controls would work, mouse wouldn't move on screen, trackpad, nothing. Not even a kernel panic.

I had to restart the mac.:confused::confused::confused:

Good suggestion. Something I didn't think to try. In fact, think I'll shut down all the computers in the house, reboot the router, then boot the iMac first, then the other computers...

Sounds like a good idea. Could be as simple as an issue with DHCP

Until I see that they've fixed the "Ambient Light Sensor On LSD" glitch, I'll not be upgrading.

I updated and I've had Safari "freeze" like three times now. I go to switch to a new page and the titlebar loads the correct title for the website I want to go to and the address bar contains the correct address. However, it never actually loads the page. I can move around on the website I was on before I tried switching but I can't get it to load the next page. Odd.

Well, so far so good. No wifi drop-outs/disconnects after 25 mins. Think that might have done the trick. :)

I'll give it another 20-30mins of browsing before calling it a night.

works fine here

All works fine ,, so far...

My widgets still don't work and haven't since my Lion upgrade. Anyone else having this problem?

Well one widget does work, nano stat, no others.

I just wonder if Lion can calculate folders while copying to them yet, every time i try to over write a folder with the same name that takes up most of a external drive it refuses to replace the folder but instead tell me there is no space, so much for OSX days

I also sued to be able to see the drives available space with out having to go to menus like "GET INFO ON THIS MAC " but instead see it on the button of the folders window along with the count of items in it, i guess lion cant count because as i mentioned, i cant see any info, even get info on the sizes of network drives, i think its part of the attack on FCP users to shove fire-bolt down our throats fast

I completely agree. If you load bootcamp with Windows on the same hardware, the 2010 MacMini plays 1080p video smooth as butter, as is scrolling in Safari or Firefox.

100% a driver issue and Apple need to address it. This is not good enough and they cannot regard 2010 hardware as not worth the trouble.

Apple is, and always has been, piss poor with their graphics drivers. I don't know what the hell makes it so difficult for nVidia/ATI/Intel to develop drivers that work just as good as they do in Windows.

From what I've read so far, seems like .2 is going to be all about iCloud so I guess I'll be waiting for .3 to update. My MBP is pretty solid at the moment - I'm sure this update will screw something up.

Mmhhh.... no mention of fixing Mail and its schizophrenic behavior? (sometimes it just doesn't download/upload, sent emails remain in the draft folder repeated 10 times, crashes all the time, etc, etc...)

Finder > View > Show Status Bar

I confirm that the update did not fix the grey out audio issue on MBP 2010.

Yeah, same issue here. Not fixed. (We have practically identical machines, haha.)

All-in-all Lion's been great for me. The aforementioned bug is annoying but a restart makes it go away (and it's gone until another restart). I wonder if they've done anything with Mail. Mail's been the biggest thorn in Lion. I love the app, but stability is... well... it crashes once or twice a day.

Didn't fix the audio icon issue on the menu bar. Installed the update, rebooted, and the icon was grayed out. Nice...WTF Apple? Their QA is tanking lately. Hate to complain, but really...

That is one of the issues I was having with Lion! Oh well, looks like I will have to wait for 10.7.2! :(

Good - I hope the trend continues!

I've been getting random pointer disappearances as well, nothing to do with iTunes. I'm also having issues with my Logitech MX mouse, I'm leaning forward using my trackpad right now! (neck cramps!)

Super annoying! Happens to me all the time in 10.7. Hopefully 10.7.1 will fix but sounds like it won't. Please report bugs to Apple.
