Who cares, seriously...![]()
I just can't believe those separated back and forward buttons are making it into the final release. Why can't they look like this:![]()
Some cheeky person asked at the end of the windows thing now it has reached version 10, will microsoft start naming them after cats. They said "probably not".
How is anythinin the AppStore not readable?![]()
Why did you have to point that out...it will drive me crazy now. You're absolutely right.
Not as good as can be.How is anythinin the AppStore not readable?![]()
Ok, this one from Shazam page in App Store. Look at all "h", "p", "g", "e", "i", "n"
Working on my 2013 iMac and 6+.
As soon as I installed and restarted Yosemite, I opened the Messages app in OS X and it immediately asked if I wanted to use that feature with my iPhone, I said Yes and it gave me a code to enter on my iPhone.
I unlocked my iPhone and a prompt popped up asking to enter the code from my iMac.
After that, it works.
I'm also on iOS 8.1...
OK, so I have updated both my iPhone 6 Plus to 8.1 and MacBook Pro with Retina to Yosemite GM. When opening the Messages app on OS X nothing happened that asked about SMS relay.
In Setting on my iPhone, there is a "Text Message Forwarding" menu that allows me to toggle on and list my Macbook Pro. When I toggle it to on, I get "Enter the code shown on your mac to allow iPhone Text Messages to be sent and received on... MacBook Pro". The messages app opens on OS X, however there is no code for me to enter?
I have tried everything to fix, AirDrop works, restarted all machines, turned on off bluetooth, airplane mode, everything. Is anyone else getting this? Please help if possible!
Nope. There isn't any fix for this? Like you can do with the non-retina iPad mini - switch to thicker fonts so iOS 7 looks a bit better on non-retina screens...?
Because in 2014, the 3D plastic bubble look is as antiquated looking as tailfins and curb feelers. And skeuomorphism is finally going away. Wasn't a good idea with Microsoft Bob, and is just silly now.
Once again MR equates "flatter" with "more modern."
For no reason that I can imagine.
i really hoped they would add dark menu bars![]()
My printer still doesn't work, it's HP Laserjet 1010![]()
Code? I didn't get asked about that
EDIT: the function was auto turned off. After turning it on it prompted the code
What I did was open Messages in Yosemite. I typed the name of a friend I know who doesn't have an iPhone. I then picked his phone number and tried to send a message. It tried to send as an iMessage which failed immediately (He has an HTC One M8). And then it asked me to verify a code on my iPhone which I did. And then it worked.
Looking forward to yosemite and hoping it doesn't hose my windows bootcamp like earlier versions did.
I have important work the next months so there is no messing around with it for me unless i'm feeling brave and have slept well.
Umm its HP Product... HP needs to update Drivers for Yosemite...
Ill hold off on installing Yosemite.. Seeing as how buggy iOS8 still is... Will probably be the same with OS X... Apple needs to get their things together
