What's broken there? It's just an extremely thin font (<1 pt thick).

And in 2021, when flatter is deemed to be too boring, we'll bring back hi-color, hi-res 3D icons which will really show off the capabilities of the 8K displays we'll all be using.

Is it possible to update to the public release and install all upcoming updates if you have public beta installed? Or do I have to do a full new install when the final is released?
Hmmm... a GM release about 2-3 weeks before it will be finally released. Is this normal?
It would seem like releasing a GM version now would give them time to manufacture new Macs to release in October/November or am I being crazy?
Why so often? I only do it if updates force me to do it.

The iOS 8.0.1 update was the only real mishap on their part (other than the botched keynote stream).
However, I, too, will be waiting to update my computer to Yosemite because its user interface is so... ugh! Can't stand it! (I am running the public beta on a test laptop just so that I'm not talking out of my arse. My observations are based on hands-on experience next to two laptops running Mavericks.)

Unlike ios8, this OS has gone through extensive public beta and will be released without any major issues that ara unknown. Perhaps the IOS team could learn something here. Just keepin it real.,...
