pooh...a lot of ad-heavy websites start a reloading webpage cycle that ends in a virtual crash of said site... it already happend to me like 5 times in 10 minutes... aapl pls fix
Really? Big Sur works great for me.No recent Beta update either...
macOS seems way behind in the stability as well compared to Watch and iOS.
web sites I completely avoid. I suppose you could turn blocking off, but why? You like being mined for targeted ads? Now if they offered to pay me, I might consider allowing them to. Opening bid $10,000/month. No takers? Then keep the heck off my computer and stop spying on me!pooh...a lot of ad-heavy websites start a reloading webpage cycle that ends in a virtual crash of said site... it already happend to me like 5 times in 10 minutes... aapl pls fix
yah, you noticed that too?Damn, Macrumors uses a lot of trackers!!
it depends if Google allows 4k on Safari yet. Last I checked, they still limited playing on Safari to 1080
macOS 11 already plays Youtube in 4K... it was up to Apple to implement VP9.google related, the web site code has a safari check then lmiits to 1080. who knows when google will fix
which they did, but google still blocks safari from seeing 4kmacOS 11 already plays Youtube in 4K... it was up to Apple to implement VP9.
Yes, it requires 10.14.6 or 10.15.6.i'm running 10.14.4 and it(safari update) doesn't show up, do you know if i need to update to 10.14.6 for this?
Oh, god. I miss Top Sites.
When Apple has updated Safari within the core OS update, they've often separately released it for older OS' simultaneously. I hear you on some users staying behind Big Sur, just not sure why they went through the hassle to release it separately now vs. waiting a month for Big Sur.

If you're using Safari as part of any workflow, but especially a Google suite based one, you might want to turn this back off. It's under Preferences > Tabs > "Show website icons in tabs".
When on, the tabs bar looks like this and won't change regardless of the width of the Safari windowView attachment 954219:
I miss Top Sites already, and hate the fact that I can't rearrange or add frequently visited sites to the list (I can drag them out, but can't put them in order I want)
And worst of all, if you shrink it as Icons, the number of Site is still the same.
They also waste a lot of space from both side. Basically this whole design is trying to bring Safari on Mac towards iOS.
Well I prefer to have trackers blocked then being entertained by top sites. Right after updating Safari found 3 trackers right here on MR and blocked them.Me too. That's why I'm not updating.
I can confirm 10.14.6 showed up and just installed, maybe it need latest OS build on older version of MacOS.i'm running 10.14.4 and it(safari update) doesn't show up, do you know if i need to update to 10.14.6 for this?
