Be a leader Apple, not a follower. Come up with a three foot tall display! Include a fluoroscopic camera, and an implantable (surgical cost not included) remote device that will show the messages and you email floating in front of your eyes...

For Ford's sake Apple!!! LEAD, DON"T FOLLOW!!! Improve the features, don't just make it bigger.

Sheesh... Bigger is just bigger... The people using these 'big' Android devices look silly holding a brick to their ear. Imagine the iPad mini with phone capabilities... I can, and I think it's stupid. I think of phones like breasts. Big is great looking, but a pain in the ass to haul around, and look silly on too many people that waste the money to buy them. Sure guys like 'big ones', but they don't have to deal with carrying them and trying to sleep with them, and seeing men leer at them, and women hate them for having them...

Big isn't the answer. It's the equivalent of throwing money at something to 'fix' it or draw attention... Yes, I mean that for both phones and boobs...

Actually, I will not. Read my other post above. I personally do not want a larger iPhone. Why is my post typical? You don't know me.

Even when Sir Johnny later making his typical iPhone video, and suddenly saying 4.6" iPhone is perfect for your thumb to reach from "here" to "here" ..?

So you were not upgrading from 3.5" iPhone to 4" iPhone as of today? I thought Steve said 3.5" is the bestest phone display ever created? Just like 9.7" iPad is the only appropriate size for tablet? Turns out they were all wrong, were they?

curved screens are amazing. sucks it took this long. your finger swipes left and right with so much ease. you get more screen space in the same dimension. more information on the screen. the samsung round also has that feature where you can rock it to one side and get time, date, weather etc.

4.7 is the ideal iPhone screen size. anything else is a nice tablet size

Here's Apple's biggest problem when (not if) they go bigger, they've been marketing the importance of one handed operation. And their followers have been eating it up and puking this garbage on forums such as these since forever. The flowers had already agreed 3.5 inches is the perfect screen size, then 4 inches became the perfect size. But in the end we all know the perfect screen size is whatever the screen size is on the current gen iPhone. Never understood how anyone could laugh at choice.

The note 3 really looks like a monster next to the iphone but if you could try one for a few days you would never go back to a smaller screen. I can't wait for a larger screen iphone so the doubters can see how much better it is to use.
As for curved displays that are good for putting notifications on the side of the screen so you don't have to take your phone all the way out.

This is a better picture for size comparison because this is around what size the new iphone screens should be.

They will deny ever saying such things, and embrace anything apple puts out. Don't forget all the folks who said the ipad mini was never going to happen because jobs said it wasn't. They have all crawled back under a rock, or have since changed their tunes and LOVE the mini now. It will never change.

Or, this is a popular website with thousands of uses, and some if them think one thing and some of them think another.

Or it's an organized conspiracy. Yeah.

Apple Reportedly Developing iPhones with Large Curved Screens for 2014, Enhan...

Actually, I missed that since I do not watch commercials. I prefer a 4" screen because it fits comfortably in: (i) one hand, (ii) front pant pockets and (iii) suit pockets.

Yes. I'm so disappointed with iPhone users that keep complaining that 4" is too small.

Our job is to fully support Apple in every single product they release rather than criticize their decisions. When and if Apple decides to adopt larger screen sizes, they will do it in a better fashion than everyone else has done so far.

Apple is here to dictate our needs - none of us should need a larger iPhone for as long as Apple does not officially announce it. Like Steve said: "Consumers don't know what they want until you show it to them"

Actually let's forget the users for now. It's Apple themselves that believe they have the perfect screen size. The followers just follow what their leader says. That being said, I have yet to hear any other company speak with such nearsightedness.

its more like the iPhone 5 is a tiny toy ;) i have an iPhone 5 and an Nexus 4. The 4.7 screen is perfect for me and not that much bigger and i barely use my phone with one hand anyway so whatever.

tempted to buy the nexus 5 just to try out a 5 inch screen

Please troll someone else. It's too early for this.

Exactly .. It's too early. So you also don't know how it looks, how it feels in your hand. Larger iPhone could be an even greater experience, and you're saying no already just this early?

get it, it's awesome. I have a SG3 (4,7") and the nexus5 at 5" is more comfortable, because it's not so wide. the nexus 5 is a great device and I would buy it in a heartbeat, but the SG3 is not broken, so :(;)

The trolls on this website are ridiculous. What did my post state other than what is best for ME?

Or maybe they will just come with something different from a phone, a phablet or even a "watch"... Tim Cook often talked about the "arm band" such the Nike... maybe the next step will be a move evolved version of it:

That would work with a bluetooth headset for the phone features.

I just thinking out loud :)

I still don't understand the need for huge screens on a phone. Portability is more important to me and truly every time I see someone holding the SG Note, I laugh at the ridiculously huge phone covering 80% of his/her face.

They don't need to be huge. I think the note is ridiculously big. But the current iPhone screen is just plain dinky. And I'm a huge fan and have had the 3G, 3GS, 4, 5 and have the 5S. I just want a decent size screen. Something like the Galaxy SII had would be awesome.

I meant too early, as in it is early in the morning. It could be a better experience. My posts never stated to the contrary. My posts stated why I prefer a 4" phone. I can use it will one hand. I can place it in my front pant pocket easily. Finally, I can place it in my suit jacket without noticing that it is there. How does that make me a fanboy following whatever the hell anyone at Apple has to say?
