Which is truly sad. Anyone from any angle who calls the Fold 3 anything less the revolutionary tech is just a fanboy of whatever they are backing in defense.
It is absolutely 100% bleeding-edge hardware no matter how you cut it. Over and above anything anyone is doing out there.
Someone gets it.You do realize that a newer tech device packing more tech is just redundant and not a feature, right? That's how tech evolves, it's not time static: of course a new iphone has to be better than an old iphone in order to be equivalent as time passes.
I just want Touch ID, I don’t care about the notch or the camera. Face ID is less secure and not very reliable. Apple has no excuse not to include Touch ID this year.Give me touchID and kill the notch and they can increase the price all they want but not for a phone thats already old before its even out.
It was $699 paid to Apple. Then the carriers all charged you a $30 one time activation fee on your first bill.IIRC, it was $699 if you were going through your carrier and $729 if you wanted unlocked/SIM free?
That's what the iPhone is slowly becoming. Is it going to be a camera with a phone stuck on the back?
Silly you. That’s for environmental purposes! But I thought Apple was already saving money by not giving us chargers and headphones with our $1K+ devices.
I have a package waiting at home with a Flip 3 in it. True innovation compared to the better camera and faster processor of the iPhone.Y'all still messing with iPhones and their out dated tech? Just got my fold 3 yesterday and it's the best phone I've ever had!
I think the rub is knowing how large the profit margin has historically been on the iPhone. Apple could easily keep prices the same. Yea, it would likely impact their profit margins a bit, but it’s not like those margins wouldn’t still be huge. How dare they increase the price when parts are in short supply!
Not when were talking about 20% of 1 chip; a few bucks. The A14 was appox $40. Drop in the bucket.I had planned to upgrade to the iPhone 13 Pro (from 11 Pro). It is not the price increase that deters me. I'm really put off by Apple's new plan to scan photos libraries on phones. So I've decided to stay with my iPhone 11 and keep iOS 14 for now. See how this all plays out and if public pressure causes Apple to change its mind.
