Apple UK

The Apple logo has been removed from the board in front of Apple UK in Stockley Park a few days ago. There is just a blank board now.

They are either moving or the logo is being updated, I'd say...

"Production of the new iMac will be slow as the yield rate of the new logo is still unacceptable."

So they are going to change their logo to fad that passed two years ago? This one is so false is hilarious.

Ok. I'm an Apple fan but I just don't see this as being a newsworthy item.

A logo with slightly glowing edges could be cool for notifications. I know I'm gonna catch a buttload of fire for this, but I did like that little notification dot on my Nexus 5. Knowing what was waiting for me without having to touch the phone was convenient. If the Apple logo glowed different colours or different pulse rates for various notifications, I'd be down with that.

Fire away.

D.

This is me too.

Also I don't see how the physical hardware is supposed to be "flat" or should be or even can be .... because.....................it's not software..so..

Something has been up with their logo for the last several months. Several times they have displayed the logo using the original 6 colors, albeit in a moderized way. Just look at the logo in the invitation for tomorrow's event. I liked the old 6 color Apple logo, but it would look silly on the back of a MacBook Pro display, or on the back of an iPhone or iPad.

Probably the one seen in iTunes 12.

Good.

Hopefully a return of iOS 6 will follow and ditch all the ridiculous ******** that has been happening lately.

1. Take the rainbow coloured stripes of the original Apple logo

2. Rotate 90 degrees

3. Make gradients between the colours

4. Hollow out the current Apple logo

5. Apply rotated rainbow pattern to the hollowed out Apple logo

6. New Tim Cook era Apple logo

Now imagine that coloured outline with LED side lighting to be used for notifications. Same as the other companies, but better than just sticking an LED indicator somewhere. Think different.

Nailed it. You would make a good detective.

I would love a notification light, but it should be on the front of the device, not the back.
