Mine still looks and feels great after regular pocket and desk use. Not sure what others are doing to theirs.
Right, I actually went to a NY Rangers game the other day and dropped my phone on the wet, concrete floor a few times and expected the worst. But surprisingly it didn't take any visible damage. Now I've only been using it for 8 days and I have the black color, so damage might not be as visible, but so far so good.

Enough of this "Impossible Meat" crap... bring back the NY Steak!
The NY Steak, much like the Shoney's Big Boy, never really left.

Never understood why the MagSafe wallet was only ever leather or Finewoven, why not a silicone version.

entire lifespan? No matter which cover I buy I have to change it every year just from pretty normal wear and tear from getting it in and out of my jeans and if you're talking about the plastic clear cases you have to change those every year because they get yellow (again no matter the brand).
Curious what your day to day is like....are you in construction or working in sewage? Both of my previous Galaxy S4 and S9+ phones only ever had one case each, both Spigen and held up just fine, in fact the S9+ is still going strong as a 2nd phone next to my iPhone (clear case....hasn't gone yellow). That's 5+ years of longevity...

Made me switch to Bullstrap full-grain leather. Nicer than the prior Apple leather cases. I don’t have a problem with leather, and I understand some people don’t want leather animal products but leather is about the most humane thing that comes from the cows we all eat anyways.

My Mous case outlasted my iPhone 12 Pro Max before I upgraded.

the apple ones dont, ive been using them for the past 4 years. Only changed cause I changed my phone. The apple clear case is the only durable case apple makes now imo
The clear case may be durable and looks good but it's flawed. It's very slippery if it gets wet, I have dropped my 13 mini several times because of that. It's open at the bottom so no protection there, my phone has a small dent there now. The case is worn/scratched and have small cracks on the corners after a little less than two years. It also collects dust so you have to remove the case and clean it from time to time.

That would be wild for Apple standards. But writing has been on the wall since initial reviews.

Now what do you replace this with when you have little time to act but want to improve on quality? Off-the-shelf vegan leather?
They should have never gotten rid of the leather cases. People like leather with their premium devices. Time to abandon those recycled case goals and give people what they want.

Called it on Day one. That was by far the worst case material Apple ever put out. Too bad Apple won’t just take the egg on the face and reintroduce leather…

Still don't get it why people don't just buy a $10 cover from a third party that lasts the entire lifespan of the phone. Is the Apple logo on the back of the case that important?
Same thing could be said about their leather cases, I love that natural grip it provides in all types of usage. The patina makes it worth it.

When Apple announced the finewoven I couldn’t get it because I had the 14 pro, but leather cases always outlast all others. In my experience they “were” the most durable accesort I ever had from Apple.

$10 cases make the phone feel like a cheap plastic toy.

However everyone has different needs but after trying otter boxes, slim cases, silicone, 10$ cases from Amazon, the leather one was my favorite ever.
