Yep, this is the absolute dumbest thing to make a big deal over.Neat. Does not matter to me at all and likely 99.999% of other people who don't frequent on-line Apple forums. But I'm sure there are those who will make a big deal about it.

Aesthetics are quite often a significant component in the buying decisions that people make..............Geez, use the phone and stop gawking at it!
I think stainless steel looks better and more premium, titanium looks cheap looking
Yes. Leather gloves for polishing. Here come AppleGloves. $99 for left, $99 for right.

Gosh that looks awful.
It's a communication tool first and foremost.Aesthetics are quite often a significant component in the buying decisions that people make..............
Or Apple do not want to sabotage preorders with clickbait headlines of the titanium finish when it’s a nonissue. Know damn well every single news reporter will write a story about it if Apple published the support document beforehand. If this was a support document updated today... this means it either wasn't noticed during materials and product testing, or that it was noticed but not considered such an issue that they would include it in a support document. Either way, it's either a lack of in depth and rigorous product testing, or them just expecting people not to notice such things. Both bizarre to have been overlooked by such a big and successful company.
Completely agree! It's like wrapped cars that change color depending on the way the light hits it.
I think its cool and so does Apple and if you disagree you're wrong.![]()
Titanium on the Ultra has been flawless. Zero knicks or smudges or anything. Combined with the sapphire glass; this is the first time my watch has looked brand new; especially after a full year.Man the stainless steel looks more durable. I wonder if this is an issue with the natural titanium as well. Watch ultra owners must have some experience I take it?
I go nude. Use a pouch when not using my phone. Buck naked when I do use it. Not coving up my $1200 phone in some cheap ass case.Who isn't using a case though. Not excusing the design choice by Apple, but I've dropped enough iPhones over the years to know better than to go in the nude.
Totally agree and the additional weight savings would absolutely be worth itI personally would be fine if the Pro models used aluminum like the non-pro models, nearly everyone uses a case.
I mean it's not like Apple uses titanium on the MacBook Pro and aluminum on the MB Air.
It's not so much that you're holding it wrong, that you're holding it.
Maybe they will update support document to state that iPhone is intended to be used with Apple Watch and AirPods.. where it is necessary to touch iPhone.. please use microfibre cloth...
I never use a case. But I also don’t care about fingerprints.Who isn't using a case though. Not excusing the design choice by Apple, but I've dropped enough iPhones over the years to know better than to go in the nude.
