Well, it's just a matter of taste mate. Maybe I'll get used to it. I hope so because I'm running two iPads and 2 iPhones at home, me and my girlfriend that is.
Likely because since most people have hundreds or thousands of songs, it's much easier to select by the other options like playlist, artist, or album first and then select the song you want. And if you know a particular song you want but don't know the artist or album, using the search bar or Siri is much faster than scrolling through hundreds or thousands of songs.
Speaking of Music player, cover flow still seems a bit slow on my 4S, however scrolling through things outside of cover flow is super speedy now. In Beta1 I was getting frequent crashes due to freezing in Music player when I scrolled too much.
Edge? You're seriously suggesting that this design by Aplpe is a new style made by Apple? No edge mate, just a mixture of different styles all-ready been used by several companies years ago.
Not sure of the cause, but it's only the mobile version of macrumors affected.

No, I think it's going to be pretty similar to that in the end. How long does it take to make a Safari icon? I could make one now in Photoshop in a few minutes that would look better than this.
+1 The iTunes Store icon hurts my eyes. Neon glow pink, I just can't stand it. Fortunately I don't use iTunes Store on my phone. The others are somewhat better, but too saturated, like a cartoon, and the gradient is too harsh, too overused.
Maybe I am confused but are the icons not just used to click into the app. How many people are really spending more than 10 seconds at most looking at an icon. It is nothing but the launch link for the app. I really wish people would get over it.
And the guy that posted that they still havent 'fixed' the Safari icon: It's Apple's baby, not ours. Evidently they are not fixing what they feel is not broken.
It would be nice to have the timestamps shown without needing to drag left, especially with the bounce back from dragging.
I'm sure it's been mentioned but not weeding through hundreds of comments, when charging the lighting symbol flashes next to the battery.
The Time stamp is still on the main message feed for every few text messages, if you need more precise time than that you drag left, its not that hard to do, plus it de-clutters the message field.
this is why apple is still the best, bc when they finally do implement some little feature people lose their **** over they do it intelligently
Hmm. Installed b2 clean on my iPhone5. Added a step in the setup wizard to add a passcode. Detects "weak" passcodes when "use complex passcode" is selected.
Damn, those screens actually look really clean and modern, very nice!

Never said this design was groundbreaking or new to the world. But I would go so far to say that iOS 7 is cutting edge as far as mobil OS designs go. Cutting edge above the competition in terms of visual dynamics, typface, etc. Even compared to iOS 6.
When are we going to be able to rate our songs again using the Music app???

Same here... surprised there isn't more discussion about this. Understood it's a Beta, but it seems like an odd feature to remove.
