Just finished, sexy Hello screen. Got it all up now, seems to be working a little snappier with the new update. No issues to report yet. Time will reveal them, I'm sure.

still nothing... i think it has rebooted itself atleast four times. do you suggest i plug it in to my mac? (at the moment it is not)

I would wait a little longer, could be trying to fix itself.
If no progress after a while though, yeah, try going through itunes and see what options it gives you. Worst case scenario, do a full restore using the iOS 7 Beta2 download.

The Time stamp is still on the main message feed for every few text messages, if you need more precise time than that you drag left, its not that hard to do, plus it de-clutters the message field.

Right, I knew that, however if you need to send a screen capture with exact times sent for each message it's still limited to the "general" times from iOS 6 and earlier. In some instances, needing exact times per sent message can be important, especially anything legally related (don't ask lol).

Still no sign of post to facebook/twitter in notification...

Thank god, maybe it's a sign that anti-social social networking is becoming less of a focus for Apple. :p

Please tell me the 9 year old kids that designed the icons have grown up to be atleast 21 now.

Taste is highly subjective of course, but to me, these icons are really starting to grow on me. So fluid and breezy, not to mention easy on the eyes. With a little fine-tuning, they'll be awesome. If they can iron out the rumored battery-life issues, it's the first time I've really looked forward toward an iOS release.

how long did it take for the update to install?

I'm trying to update my iPhone 5 from the beta 1 to the beta 2...it has been trying to for almost an hour now...I'm still stuk at the apple with the progress bar (at about 5-10%)

starting to get worried!!

Now it has dark background, and its more fluid. :D.

Pls stop with the icons things, if you are graphical designer and believe can do better, why don't you send your cv to Apple headquarters and stop complaining about it.?

What a ******** comment.
Considering your logic, no1 would be allowed to complain about politics because they "could go into politics and make it better themselves" or shut up.
Damn!

This was in the first beta but not sure if anyone pointed it out. I noticed that the text on spinners actually rotate, giving it a more "3D" perspective.

Yeah, it looks pretty ugly.

I'm not sure if anyone else pointed this out either, but when you have a timer, you can now see the countdown on the lock screen under the time.

I've been stuck on the Apple install screen for over an hour now. The first time it was on this screen, it moved till the end and then reboot straight to this...(see below) has not moved since!! Help, what do I do reboot? Let it sit? And for how long if I do let it sit?

I take more of an issue with the general UI. Less contrast, bright white backgrounds with light grey lines/text (I lowered brightness to ~25% - saves battery but still marginal), buttons replaced with text, back replaced with "<", for us who are more tech savvy it may make sense. However, for older adults who aren't as tech savvy or have impaired eye sight as is common with age, it isn't as easy to navigate as some suggest. I applaud Apple for such brave, drastic changes, however it has impaired functionality (especially the calendar monthly view). I'm relieved the keyboard in beta 2 has more contrast, typing with white keys on a very light grey background was ridiculous, and I'm a fast typer.

So there's simple, then there's plain awful.

Nice! Awesome, thanks mate! When I tried it slid back, thought pressing the home and power button for a screen shot would not be possible. :)

Just tried it, so you have to use both hands, one to slide to the left and hold it, the other to take the screenshot. Not impressed.

DFU that sucker and go back to iOS 6 then back to 7 and see if it works.

Let it sit. Plug it into power just in case.
