Maybe next year Apple

After seeing the release of iOS 7 I said to my self that I should give them a beta update or two. I have now decided after seeing this that I am not going to buy an iPhone this. The look of iOS 7 needs a year to mature. They should bring back buttons and some of the old look. For short, tone the gloss down a bit.

Now I am going Android Nexus 4. Love the virtual buttons and widgets. I am going to miss Hipstamatic app and the Podcaster app from Apple. I am also going to miss iOS 6 but it's a good time to try Android again.

See ya next year Apple!

Can anyone tell me if the eBay app on iPad works? The iPhone version fails to launch (launch, hang, crash), does the iPad app do the same?

It seems that the heavy battery draining bug has been fixed in Beta 2!

(This bug had to do with the iTunes store using 50-60% CPU in the background even with the device was locked and draining the battery, this doesn't seem to happen in Beta 2 from my initial testings)

Ugh I tried restoring as a new phone and it said there was an activation error?! And when I finally get it working there is no voice memos?!

I take it your a non developer. SMH! You non developer don't listen well full restore back to iOS 6.1.4 or 6.1.3 and ATL+Check For Updates and select iOS 7 Beta 2 iPSW and you should be fine.

P.S. Windows is SHIFT + Check For Updates

Are you on beta 1 because voice memos is not in beta 1

Yes, but only ones secure in their sexuality.

One doesn't need to be insecure in their sexuality to dislike the use of pink, purple, and other bright pastel colors in a product they use everyday and paid a lot of money to obtain.

One doesn't need to be insecure in their sexuality to understand that Apple's marketing teams are probably mostly female, and likely wanted the design of iOS 7 to appeal more to female preferences as their intended target audience they market to frequently.

Just because men don't fit within this target audience marketing demographic, and also happen to dislike their recent color/design choices doesn't make them insecure when they express their dislike for those color/design choices. It only means they have different color/design preferences that they wish their products would have.

I also don't like the color red. I can choose not to buy red shirts or cars, etc. That doesn't make me insecure. I can also choose to wear a red shirt or drive a red car on occasion if I have no choice, but that doesn't make it any less displeasing. I will always choose to buy products that are not red (or pink or purple or other colors I dislike).

It is not insecurity, it is different preferences.

Is the keyboard on iOS7 beta 2 for iPad still a different layout than on the iPhone?
It just drives me NUTZ how they are different.

Actually I am and I am on Beta 2. This is very strange.

Sorry if this has been covered but what I'd also like in iOS7 is a link between the calendar and contacts, so you can click on a contact and add an appointment in the calendar. Or if your in the calendar and add something you have the option to link it with a contact.

You have valid concerns and I also share some of your fears concerning discoverability with older users, but once someone figures out that the back button is always on the top left with a < icon they will remember it no?

Yup. I hope so :)

It's also the buttons replaced with just text, as in Messages and Mail. In iOS 6, the buttons in apps are much more distinguishable. Example, Mail.

iPad 2 WiFi Rev A iOS 7 Beta 2

iPad 2 WiFi iOS 7 Beta 2

Someone tell me what the difference between them 2 are?

I've seen this mentioned a few times (complaints about "feminine colors"). Are you just talking about the default wallpaper?

I am a dope. For some reason when I downloaded the link from the developer site it downloaded Beta 1? Now it's downloading beta 2. That was really weird because I downloaded beta 2 for the iPad mini and it was fine.

Leaving the iPhone for an inferior piece of hardware (no LTE, really?) with, IMO, less quality app selection in favor of aesthetics is a bit drastic; nobody's forcing you to update to iOS 7. When iOS 7 is released, your device running iOS 6 doesn't cease to function and developers don't stop supporting it.

No it isn't cause theres 2 others

iPad 2 WiFi + CDMA iOS 7 Beta 2

iPad 2 WiFi + GSM iOS 7 Beta 2

So anyone know why theres 2 wifi versions?

I think the rev one is the revised latest iPad 2 version I think because remember when apple recalled some Apple TV 3 by serial now they have two versions as the rev is the newest from the recall.

Can somebody that has the latest update let me know if the MLB at Bat app works? I wasn't able to use it in Beta 1 and it was one of the main reasons I rolled back to 6.

You seriously rolled back to iOS 6 because one app didn't work :eek:Wow but it doesn't work and that's not a iOS 7 problem. The developer for the app has to update the app to be supported in iOS 7
