iPad 2 WiFi Rev A iOS 7 Beta 2

iPad 2 WiFi iOS 7 Beta 2

Someone tell me what the difference between them 2 are?

Rev A iPad 2 is the refreshed iPad 2 from the release of iPad 3 (or 4, can't remember).

I've got iOS 7 beta 2 running in iPhone 5 and iPad 2. iPad is a bit laggy, but iPhone is whizzo. Roll on next update.

Unable to Check for Update

All I keep getting is "Unable to Check for Update" when I try to update to beta 2 OTA. Anyone else having this issue?

You seriously rolled back to iOS 6 because one app didn't work :eek:Wow but it doesn't work and that's not a iOS 7 problem. The developer for the app has to update the app to be supported in iOS 7

Yes, yes I did. I use that app religiously. You're right about the app update. I guess I'll just have to wait until the official release.

Is anyone familiar with how location accuracy is improved when Bluetooth is turned on? That is what is states when i click on Bluetooth under settings. I don't have it turned on because my phone doesn't pair with any other bluetooth device.

If my phone isn't paired to anything, how can it my location accuracy be improved?

White screen flash when getting a notification...

not sure if feature or bug... do you guys know how can I disable this if feature?

I put it on my ipad. The 3d effect with the wallpaper was promoted in the keynote as a cool new feature. But it is just making me dizzy. Is there a way to disable it (apart from going back to ios 6)?

The twitter icon inside of settings and the twitter icon on my homescreen are a tad different. I like the one inside of settings more.

iPhone getting stuck in the boot screen

Trying to install beta 2, one boot screen appears and the status bar fills up then then another one appears and the status bar gets stuck, is this happening to anyone else, dont want to restore the iphone unless i really need to, multiple resets keeps getting stuck in the same place

Slight Bug

After installing beta 2 OTA on my 4S, I've noticed that sometimes when I turn on my phone the clock and date will be sitting in the middle of the screen instead of at the top, then after a few seconds it will move back up. Anyone else experience this?

i had that problem. Only a restore worked.

Can anyone tell me if the eBay app on iPad works? The iPhone version fails to launch (launch, hang, crash), does the iPad app do the same?

Most Likely yes.

Until these non apple apps post an update in the store that says that it includes support for iOS 7 they are likely to be buggy, crash etc. that's why this whole preview exists. So developers can update their stuff to be ready before the new iOS version goes public.

It is not intended for folks to be putting this on their daily use devices etc

I had experience that but haven't seen it do it again

One doesn't need to be insecure in their sexuality to understand that Apple's marketing teams are probably mostly female, and likely wanted the design of iOS 7 to appeal more to female preferences as their intended target audience they market to frequently.

Sexist much? The color palette and who picked it likely has zilch to do with gender or sexual proclivity of the designers or the audience.

They wanted a radical redesign that was a total change from the previous versions. Thus they picked a totally different color palette.

Anyone else notice this lockscreen bug

Can somebody that has the latest update let me know if the MLB at Bat app works? I wasn't able to use it in Beta 1 and it was one of the main reasons I rolled back to 6.

Has there been an update in the App Store for MLB at Bat that states it now supports iOS 7?

No. So no it won't work.

It's an App issue to be fixed by the developers, not an iOS issue

Most Likely yes.

Most likely? If you don't know the answer, why bother to reply? To my knowledge, the eBay app isn't universal, so there's no reason to assume that the issue would exist on both devices.

Thanks for the useful information. /s My development hardware is currently limited to two iPhones, I was asking before I installed the beta on my personal (only) iPad. The only thing that would keep me from installing it is the eBay app which I use frequently and for a source of income.

So my question still stands, can anyone help me with an actual answer?

Leaving the iPhone for an inferior piece of hardware (no LTE, really?) with, IMO, less quality app selection in favor of aesthetics is a bit drastic; nobody's forcing you to update to iOS 7. When iOS 7 is released, your device running iOS 6 doesn't cease to function and developers don't stop supporting it.

I am not worried that the Nexus 4 don't have LTE. In my country we has fabulous 3G speeds. I have tried some top android phones and boy Apple has a problem. The fluidity is still a little better on iOS but I would say Google is 95% close. All my favourite apps is on Android besides the two I named. One reason to go is that iPhone 4S feel awkward to hold. Apple is number one but I feel that Google are innovating faster. One example is Google now vs Siri.

Nope

I tried to and now mine won't even open after I updated to beta 2, sorry. Apparently this is a developer issue, not an issue with the Beta necessarily. We just need the MLB to update the app, for now I'd recommend Sportacular.

The amateurish icons and unreadable font are even worse on the iPad than on the iPhone. And the Vista grass wallpaper is not helping. I begin to feel cold...
