The music app is A LOT less buggy.

1. Artist Tab now shows ALL artists from iTunes Match where it was bugged before
2. iTunes Match download icons now appear aligned and tweaked/finished.
3. Scrolling is MUCH smoother.

The animation when sending a message is fixed and automatically scrolls down to the most recent message where it was bugged before.

I still don't get why "Songs" is under "More...". They made Radio the first class citizen, and made it hard to get to the actual iPod functionality.

The gears in the new Settings icon don't even make sense.

It looks like the inside of a watches gears IMO.

Quickly tested zooming while recording video. Unfortunately, beta2 still doesn't have true, intelligent zooming making use of the full width of the sensor. At the theoretical losless maximum of 1.45x zoom level, the resolution already drops quite a bit (unlike with the Nokia PureView 808); at the maximum 3x, it becomes much-much worse.

I really hope Apple does implement intelligent zooming like that in the Nokia PureView 808 to give zoom folks as good resolution as possible.

Will post some examples of these zoom levels.

Tested the new features of the Camera (AVFoundation) API - for example, shooting in 720p60, AVCaptureDevice.formats etc.

It works in exactly the same way as b1:

- same available video modes
- unfortunately, no non-binned (read: truly 720p-resolution) 720p60 mode
- the last two (four), image-oversampler modes returned by AVCaptureDevice.formats, while they still have the 'vide'/'420v' wide, still can't be used for video recording

All this on the iPhone 5.

I was just gonna say that. Plus do you even notice the huge lens on that bad boy? lol compared to the iPhone 5's little lens.

It crashes immediately upon tapping on any chat...

If you're using the beta on your primary device, and getting angry that an app you use is broken... you're doing it wrong.

According to the Release Notes :

Go under the siri settings and there is a "Voice Gender" option. I tried the male version and it worked, and the female version was already different as soon as I installed beta 2

If you just go into the "more" tab then "edit" in the top right corner you can drag and re-arrange these tabs to your desire. This has been available since iOS 5.
