How many times does it need to be said? You people aren't supposed to be using beta firmware on your primary phone. Period.

Don't be mad at Apple when you're using it in a way that's not recommended.

That's not the point. Apple should be giving the devs at least 48 hours after thew NEW beta comes out to upgrade before bricking the phones.

It's retarded to release a new beta on same day of the midnight expiration and there's no reason in the world for Apple to do that, or for any other company. It is one of the most retarded thing I have ever heard of.

Imagine a real legit beta tester download a beta of Snow Leopard, Apple warns them that it'll expire exactly 7 days later but there'll be a new beta before that. An hour before the expiration deadline, Apple releases the new beta. Just one hour.

so you can save the video but not copy it. if you try it will only copy the file name not the actual file you can see this when u paste it anywhere. by the way my at&t service still sucks lol

Not a new feature, apparently. I was able to replicate it on my iPhone with OS 3.0. I went to http://live.login.com, and clicked "signin with enhanced security" towards the bottom of the original dialogue box, and am also viewing Microsoft Corporation in green. Good observation though, I never noticed either.

Glad to hear they fixed the high pitched sounds in video... but what about after sending a text message?

This was a iPhone3GS only issue right? My old 3G never made that high pitched sound. I get the high pitched sound even if I lock/unlock my phone.

Try to go a little away from the base station, you'll notice. I have a 2 floor apartment and it was perfectly okay to use wifi on both floors w/2.2 software. Now I cannot get a connection on the other floor, so it must be because of 3.0 changed something.

You can do a search for Emoji in the iTunes App Store for them. There are some apps which are free that can enable Emoji for you. By default, they are only installed on Japanese iPhone's.

Yes how annoyed was I to wake up to a dead iPhone and be forced to do the update to get it working again before I left for work.

Looks like they've made some changes so the tethering 'hacks' from help.benm.at don't work anymore on O2 UK.

If you paid the $99 you click the iphone 3.1 sdk and you will see the files.

Can anyone comment on the fixes of the bugs I've found on 3.0:

App pictures jumbling up after a hard reset.
WiFi signal issues.
Speed of 3.1 compared to 3.0.
Occasionally unlocking phone and not having the backlight on to illuminate screen.
Battery life!!! Has it been improved?
Any word on a MobileMe App?

Has the Reset screen always had all of these options? I've not used Reset since v2 firmware and cannot recall having them then.
