Yes, that's what I mean. I'm in the UK, and I haven't slept in the past 24 hours.
Why not?

Is Canadian english really that different?
When I read a message on my Mac, the notification disappears off my iPhone.
Hopefully Apple will have addressed this as there must be a large number of people like me where husband and wife each have an iPhone and Mac/iPad yet only a single AppleID/iCloud account otherwise they'd have to buy music/apps etc. twice. Perhaps link messages to the email address of the user account on the Mac?
Anyone with MacBook Pro Retina is getting better OS performance? (UI transitions, scrolling, and so on)
I'm curious, how do all of you who see FB integration as an Orwellian nightmare cope with Twitter integration on your Macs and iDevices?
From what I've read, FB integration will work the same way. I don't use Twitter and having it present in OS X and iOS has never bothered me in the slightest. I do use FB so look forward to this functionality.

are you sure? when i'm on my mac and look on my iPhone after a few hours, the lockscreen is spammed with iMessage nots
There's an easy way to solve this, my partner and I use it.
Each phone/iPad/mac should be set up with the iCloud account you want to use for iMessage, Facetime, contact syncing etc.
Then pop into Settings, Store (on iPhone, iPad) and change the ID to the one you use for purchases.
We use it at home, and it runs fine. We basically just created two "dummy" iCloud accounts using @me.com addresses that were only going to be used for iMessage, Contacts, Facetime, iCloudy stuff. Then we use my long standing Apple ID for purchases. Works a treat.
Yeah I've been waiting for email/number merging! Gonna make life so much easier and make messages actually usable! And yes it totes has to do with IOS6
I feel lIke increase of performance. Faster for sure

Disable the iMessage account on your Mac.I am not sure if I am loving the idea of getting all my messages on my mac through imessage. Now people can read and snoop on my messages. I don't want to lock my screen etc.
As long as the messages are iMessages (blue), all of the iMessages will show up on every device that you own that is signed into the same iCloud account.
Absolutely sure. The notification will appear when the message comes through but then disappears when I read it on my Mac.
