Sure hope this fixes the syncing with iTunes issue. As it stands now, with my iPhone 6 and iOS 8.0.2, when it's attached directly to my iMac, syncing goes on for about an hour and about 25% of my songs, as well as some of my playlists, will not transfer to the iPhone. Everything syncs perfectly with my iPad Mini running iOS 7.1.2.

Thought I was the only one having this issue, and it's a real pain. When I uncheck a book in iTunes and sync, it doesn't remove the book from my phone. Also syncing takes a long time and seems to hang in weird places (like starting or copying) but if I let it sit long enough it will eventually finish.

Hope they fix this in 8.1 because there's no way other than syncing via iTunes to manage personal books and videos.

apple pay delays

why do i get the feeling that apple pay will be delayed in the roll-out? not on part of apple, but more of the merchants/banks?

i was as excited about carplay. As of yet only..only a few car maker has roll out carplay? those same one that was announced by apple to do so? -_-

no doubt, since we can imagine the amount of work for this type of roll-out to the masses. every POS needs replacing/upgrading, all employees need to be retrained (sales clerk and management alike). even all the customer supports people.

I wish Apple would make it so when playing a video via Bluetooth headphones there is no delay.

Really annoying not being able to watch a video with my Bluetooth headphones.

Fixed in 8.1 Beta 2...

So the 8.1 update is designed to do what 8.0, 8.0.1, and 8.0.2 failed to do (or broke).....

Glad I'm still rockin 7.1.2

I hear the camera roll is back. Or did they just rename the recently added to it and still only have a limited number of pictures in it? Hopefully they restored the full functionality of it where all your pictures are in it.

I have noticed that copying and pasting in general is a huge mess, at least in Safari. When selecting text it's very easy to make it glitch and have it "select" back and forth between things. It also seems harder to select specific words, and scrolling+selecting usually ends up in a "stuck" scrolling state and I have to reload.

Yep, agreed.

I hope this fixes the annoying comments about strange bugs that nobody but one person in the entire world seems to have...

You mean like my phone not knowing which way is up and tagging photos as portrait when they're landscape and vv? I seem to be one of few who consider this a pretty major PITA here, and it's never mentioned in the builds as fixed, or even as existing.

First I heard of the Bluetooth Bug.
That explains the pairing problem I'm having with my car.
Funny how I thought it was my car that had the problem and trusted my iPhone. LOL :D

It's fully back. Even in the 1st beta. :):)

Does it [continue to] fix the Bluetooth calling issue with almost every car I can find?

EXIF bug, is it fixed?

Don't know about 8.1b1, but 8.02 has a bug where doing ANY adjustment via Photos will get rid of all EXIF information. This includes third-party extensions as well as the built in adjustment tools and filters. Can someone confirm if this has been fixed(or not)?

Just installed this new beta. No change in Touch ID speed from 8.0 to 8.0.2. to 8.1 BETA1/2. I have multiple devices so it's easy to test.

Seriously. Is Touch ID speed the new Safari-is-snappier?

The thing is I actually noticed differences in speed. My touch ID was constantly giving me an error initially but now it reads immediately

Maybe I'm missing something. Is Touch ID slow for some people? It's plenty fast for me.
