They should concentrate on making beautiful devices..
Seems Samsung S4 is a heavy rival for Apple.. Good for us, well i am swithing this week to a S4 - iOS and the small screens got boring..![]()
Color me surprised. Apple the worlds biggest cry baby does it again.
To me this just tells me Apple is running scared.
The colour of the galaxy s4
Side note: What happened to the 1bn that was awarded and all that jazz?
Im getting REALLY ********d off with Apple!!!
Tim Cook, if you're reading this, why don't you guys spend more time developing and bringing to market a phone to compete with the S4 rather than spending all your time in court!
As much as I now LOVE my S4 (which I replaced my iPhone 5 for, best move ever!), I want to read about great new Apple products that will bring me back to Apple, not about how Apple are AGAIN seeking to sue Samsung!!!!!!!!!
Let's not forget why Apple is pissed...
That award has been cut damn near in half already, and another trial will be held where it may be cut even more.
I guess we all needed to hear this for some reason...

And some say there aren't Apple haters on MR, especially new registrants.![]()
A giant screen may be wonderful for you, but for me (and I'm sure others, given Apple's sales) I don't really want something that size in my pocket, or in my hand.
Android was meant to physical keyboard phones until iPhone appear from nowhere. Suddenly Bam! The G1 was born.
Let's not forget why Apple is pissed...
Yeah, a small percentage of current smartphone buyers like the tiny little screens that Apple uses. But the vast majority of people like normal sized screens.
It is good that Apple continues to serve shrinking niche markets.
Samsung makes great washing machines and sells an awesome life insurance. I'm not joking. Life insurance, FCOL
And to think we are funding this nonsense with every Apple purchase.
Which of these sizes is "normal" exactly?
Somewhere between 4.5 and 5 inches is normal these days
It's technically only 14 different models at least...
I would assume the phones he lists multiple times were not purchased multiple times.....rather he went back to that phone (which he kept) to use as his daily driver.
Android was, from the start, meant to be hardware agnostic and run on any form factor the device makers could come up with. The fact that iPhone catapulted the popularity of all-touchscreen phones doesn't change that.
Cherry-picked and misleading picture, there are many pre-iPhone, iPhone-like phones that belong on the left side. Ericsson had the all-touchscreen P800 in 2002. Anyone who paid attention could see that phones progressed towards bigger and bigger screens before the iPhone, it was just the natural evolution of the technology.
The only real revolution with the iPhone was the heavy emphasis on gestures rather than simply using the touchscreen as a substitute for a mouse pointer as was the case with every touchscreen phone before.
Why do people here just make things up?
Or fewer and fewer parents are buying their children cheap android phones.
