I originally ordered an iPhone around 12:15 and was guaranteed an delivery date around the middle of November. However I got a message from Apple stating that it was taking a little longer to verify my information and that I would receive and email from apple within 6 hours. It also told me to not place another order until I received that email. I called citizens one in the meantime and was told that my original loan was APPROVED and that it was processing. Around 4:30 AM I received an email from apple that said I needed to re-order my iPhone because my original loan was unable to process. By this time my new ship date was now the middle of December. (and my loan was approved right away this time).

And that is the message I get in response?

Just received a reply from Apple (my name and their name crossed out in the screenshot).
They said check back in 3 business days on our order page. (That would be Wednesday, right??)
Keeping you guys posted as soon as I hear more news on the topic.
I also received this email.

I guess I won’t know until Tuesday whether I’ll get a release day X, as I properly queued for or not.

Quite a way of setting up suspense.

Funny thing is after I stayed up and failed and the found out the next morning I was out of luck, I sort of gave up on the hype of it all. I was like, “well Apple doesn’t really care if you want to permanently enroll in buying their products so hey, why do I?”

And then this happens I’m like “well, I guess I’m still in the game. Bring on the hype.”

Really though, I think we are at the “video iPod” stage of iPhone on the eve of AR but whatever. Still want the X.

how? what did you tell them?
Pretty much just told her the whole story, asked ‘what can you do about it’, she put me on hold for ~3 mins, came back saying I should get a confirmation email on Mon/Tue with the 11/3 date. I’ll believe it when I get that email, but so far seems promising.

I called and they said they couldn't do anything even though I explained them my story.. Kind of annoying

Lucky... I don't know how I got a "we can't do anything for you" email when we are all in the same ****ing boat

I also got this email yesterday, initially i had an estimate delivery of nov 10 I think, then they canceled my order and asked me to apply again. I gave up and went to the T-Mobile store the following mornign and pre-order the iphone, shipping between nov 10 and dec 1 :( TMobile run a credit check for the preorder, I don't know if I should apply for the apple upgrade program, get another hard credit check, cancel the reservation in tmobile, and hope Apple will expedite the phone to the original delivery day nov 10.

I don't know what to do? The easiest thing is just to let it go and wait. What do you think guys?

Indeed the one goal was pretty awesome! Burned 500 active calories in a single run, which I had not accomplished before.

Now as far as my life goals, I'm 26, married, the president of my corporation and currently managing two DBA's under that INC umbrella. The watch didn't help me with that, but I do look pretty bad ass wearing it at the gym.

Oh wow, president of a corp, sounds like you are living it. For sure the whole gym would agree on how "bad ass" you look, nothing like wearing a disposable gadget for social awareness.

I also just got the "check back in 3 business days" email. At least it didn't say that there were no changes required. Still hoping....

Please stop fighting and return to iPhone x related fighting. Thanks in advance.

Thanks! I sent an email with my details. I’ll update if I hear anything back.

Same. I sent my email a couple hours back and I keep refreshing for a reply. Lol.

Those of you that had this happen to them, do you have a hard pull on your credit?
I believe it did. Since I first joined on the 6s launch day and did not get the 7. So my 6s is now paid off and have to re-apply for the new loan.

Omfg people taking loans for a mass produced factory commodity that crashes in value.
It just makes me so sad. :(
If you really feel that way, I have only one thing to say: Don't finance a car, ever...

Based on what you’ve described, I don’t know why you didn’t get the email.

Presumably, this is being handled based on very, very specific user flows and business rules. Most likely, something about your transaction is different but I’m a loss as to what that might be

Just checked the order status again and got bumped back to November 17 - November 24 (which is the original delivery date for my first cancelled order) instead of December 11 - December 18.
Everyone who got the same email shall check their order status and see if they got back into their old place in the line.

Wow. Got updated back to my Nov 3rd original date (got screwed by this and was stuck with mid December after waiting four hours on preorder night before they sent the follow up email that I needed to reorder). Kudos to Apple for incredible customer service.

What did you do to get them to move it? I also got the same email saying I had to reorder. So far, I've just emailed that orderstatus email that someone listed.

Mine has been 11/03 but there was an error when trying for IUP on my initial order. Hopefully they can update it. Congrats to those who got earlier dates and kudos to Apple for reaching out.

Anyone have this problem or see this message when they were pre-ordering?? I’ll attach a pic it. But I showed one week delivery and kept getting a message about my IMEI number being wrong. Then Apple gave me a reservation number to keep my spot in line and said I had 24 hours to fix my IMEI number. ATT fixed my IMEI number 8 hours into the 24 hour period but on apple’s website they never could recognize the change and I spent all day on the phone with both ATT and Apple and they seemed to just blame each other for the discrepancy, although one Apple rep did some reaearch and said they had a bug they were working out. But...24 hrs came and went and I lost my spot. Any suggestions?? I feel like both companies really screwed be over.
