The more stores the better, it only drives my Apple stock higher.

In an ironic twist of fate, it's my Apple stock that is of greater importance to me than the iToys, they are selling these days.

Getting in, grabbing a huge number of shares when it was just under $20 per share years ago, and continuing to add to the tally every year since, it's thanks to the current share price that it feels like everything I buy from them today is free.

I guess that makes me exempt from "Apple Tax" :)

Penrith is a suburb of Sydney. It will be the 5th Apple store in Sydney.

Penrith! Apple must be lowering their standards - expanding like Starbucks. I thought Apple only opened retail stores in high socioeconomic status areas/shopping centres. Penrith is a hole.

Three words:

1. Cashed.
2. Up.
3. Bogans.

Many, many McMansions out there and loads of disposable income.

Even still, the 'riff wouldn't be my first choice...

Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland?

There are 0. Zero. Apple stores in the Scandinavian countries! My nearest Apple Store, (not Apple retailer, those are everywhere) is in BERLIN, GERMANY! 12 HOURS by car! Or maybe by air plane to London in 2.5 hours + 1 hour by taxi, Come on Apple. Give us some love!

Apple will open two stores in Spain in the next two months: its first store in Marbella, Málaga, and its second store in Madrid. Sounds good :).

penrith really?

I knew it was going to be an Apple store before they had that logo up, mainly cause the people working on it wouldn't tell me when I asked, I kind of hoped it wouldn't be though, Penrith Plaza is the worst place you could have put an Apple store, so many people steal and get away with it even though there are so many security guards around all the time.

Feeling very lucky. I have one store 20 minutes away, and one 30 minutes away.

I guess I'm living in the right place :D

Pretty impressive growth rate. And as of yesterday's market close, AAPL hit an all-time high.

They must be doing something right!

I went to school in Boston, and would frequent the Apple store on Boylston Street often. Miss the E. Coast.

Luckily there are 6 Apple Stores in DFW!

I don't know Chundles. Bondi, George St, Chatswood, that all makes sense. I'd think Warringah Mall (Northern Beaches, Lower North Shore) would make more sense.

We need an apple retail store in Puerto Rico!
I hate those resellers and I hate the fact that I can't buy online!

I have 3 within 40 minutes of me (2 are about 15 from me). Let's get one even closer!

Bergen Count NJ, How about Ridgewood or Midland Park?!

So, how about a Sioux Falls Apple Store? Please? :D

We need one in Asheville, North Carolina! I have never understood why we don't have one here. We have the socioeconomic resources to support one, especially if it were in the Biltmore Park area. Of course, I would be happy to have one anywhere here, even the mall.

The closest Apple Stores to Asheville are in Greenville, SC (over an hour), Knoxville, TN (over two hours), and Charlotte, NC (two and a half hours). We have a store call City Mac that is an authorized retailer but it's not the same, we need our own store here! :apple:

That's gotta suck.

London Ontario please!

That would be awesome! It should do fine too.

I have heard rumors that it could be on Princes Street, either east end opposite Waverley Station, or the west end ( i think the empty shop between orange and hmv??)

Yeah, rumours I heard is the old Burger King.

Supposedly the ex-Boots/Waterstones/Burger King set of shops opposite the Balmoral/North British. Quite why they would choose the grotty end of Princes Street rather than the available spaces with a direct Castle view is beyond me.

I wouldn't say it's a bad place to put it - it's near the St James centre, and if it is the old Burger King place they get, they've got windows on the front and side of the store, seeing as Apple has a love for glass and light in their stores.

We need more Apple stores in Atlanta. Every time I go to one of them, it's completely full.

Sounds like the one here in Boca Raton. It doesn't matter what time I go to that store or what day its always full. Even when they are 10 minutes from closing its full.

Sorry I don't understand? Are you saying you'd have gone with Warringah over Penrith? Because I said Penrith wouldn't be my first choice so you're kind of agreeing with me.
