Australia, Adelaide could do with one, the authorised dealers we have here offer completely useless service.

New location in Houston just down the street -- not sure if that's a good thing?
We need one in downstate Illinois. Driving to Indy or Chicago is just too far.![]()
And Microsoft is only opening 75 over a year?
Haha they have no chance.
I would just like one closer than 4 hours away.
Chicago -4 hours
Minneapolis - 7 hours.
I believe they wanted to open 75 stores over a two year period.
In all reality, I don't think the MS stores are a bad idea. There are those that will never buy a Mac and the MS store is a place to go where the associates actually know MS software, as opposed to the useless people at Best Buy.
On the other hand, I think the Apple Store has really helped in the growth of Apple. Most people in the Apple store are not intending on buying something at that moment, but, they get a chance to experience Apple's products and the seed gets planted in their mind that they just might want to invest in an Apple product in the future. It really helps in converting PC users to Mac.
I totally agree. I was just talking to my sister about her recent trip to finland and she commented on how countries like finland used to be at the forefront of mobile technologies and how far they have fallen behind North America in actual use of mobile by ordinary people. There are 0. Zero. Apple stores in the Scandinavian countries! My nearest Apple Store, (not Apple retailer, those are everywhere) is in BERLIN, GERMANY! 12 HOURS by car! Or maybe by air plane to London in 2.5 hours + 1 hour by taxi, Come on Apple. Give us some love!
We need more Apple stores in Atlanta. Every time I go to one of them, it's completely full.
I wonder if Microsoft will be able to keep up.
When I'm at the Apple Store they're sometimes TOO nice...they won't let me leave and are always trying to help me/hook me up with tips and stuff. I'm not rude so I listen, but if Microsoft wants to be successful with these stores...they need the same type of employees. Because those Best Buy idiots and a lot of other people trying to sell their stuff are morons.
Three words:
1. Cashed.
2. Up.
3. Bogans.
