Where is the hype over a physical card? This is absolutely the definition of a slow news day. Apple has these articles for basically every product they make. I’m sure it’s a legal thing.Thought we were supposed to be using “card less” ecosystems like NFC and Apple Pay. Now all this hype over a physical card. Another notch lower we go...
LOL.This is almost a joke . . . to say it shouldn't come in contact with leather?
I would wager the majority of wallets are leather.
With Goldman Sachs as the bank and MasterCard as the creditor, Apple's job was to bring fashion to the table. Which they said they were:
The funny thing is that I finally ditched my wallet last year as all my cards are digital apart from 3 which are kept in my iPhone case. Wallets are a thing of the past, but for some reason Apple wants everyone to take a step backwards and get wallets again?ApplePants, AppleWallet, ApplePurse, AppleAppleApple!!!

Today I learned that some people apparently clean their credit cards.
Sounds like the product is designed to be looked at, not touched.
Time to start ‘ Waiting for 2020 card’ threadDon't worry, Apple Card V2 will be universal and "Denim compatible™" don't you know always skip 1st gen? They will discontinue V1 / make it slow with a SW update (CardOS).
Wonder if V2 (now you can spend your money 2x as fast) will also have a larger chip ...
Just checked my plastic cards that I keep in my wallet, mostly.
Many had some glue-ish gunk on them (from the wallet apparently), black marks consistent with the insertion direction into a chip reader, discolouration and scratches.
And the cards haven’t even been used a lot, thanks to Apple Pay.
So...why is this news? Blue denim stains everything and leather is also bound to leave a mark on many materials in prolonged contact.
“Bad” Apple news drive traffic it seems.
Is this card actually white in person, or is that just some reflective angle in photos? I would expect a titanium card to look mostly silver.
And you did all that without a guide? Wow you must be a genius.Every now and then I wipe my cards down and I use a wallet that zips around so that nothing gets into it while it’s in my pocket or bag.
Still changing the world.Apple has reinvented the credit card.
