Apple should really be launching a line of clothing suitable for this new type of credit card, I assume this is in the pipeline for later this year?

Anything in Apple's support document about how to order a replacement card? The magnetic strip on my heavily-used AMEX card never lasts until the next card gets shipped (when the expiration date approaches). AMEX makes it easy, a phone call and they overnight a replacement. I wonder if GS will be as accommodating?

And you did all that without a guide? Wow you must be a genius.

P.S. it is not against you, just pointing out that as you do, so do many people, and there's no need a guide for that.

What's next, they will tell poeple to clean their behinds? some might need it

Lmao oh I agree the guide should be pretty self explanatory, but eh it is what it is. Nothing in this world surprises me anymore.

I think they mean air duster products but are putting it in layman's terms. The propellants they use are actually mild solvents and, if sprayed as liquid, will attack some materials.

Right, that makes sense. But if the propellant in "canned air" can dissolve the finish, why did they choose such a fragile finish?

These morons are trying to find out if the Apple Card is bulletproof (literally):

But will it blend?

Apple has reinvented the credit card.

The only problem is, it didn’t need reinventing.

it actually does and did. Credit card security...

My biggest ??? about the card how do you use it if you need to do transactions over the phone as it doesn't have a number? A lot of transactions still happen this way.

I actually cant think of anything more apple like than making something that doesn't actually work properly with what everybody else considers to be normal.. denim and leather!!! haha.. Surely this is an inside joke??
This is mat white coating. It's normal it will react with denim etc. You are so stupid here.

Avoid storing it next to another credit card. There they go again- form over function
yes, card is actually an app in your phone This is only a souvenir.

The actual number, security code and exp. date are located in the wallet app under card information. All the things you need for an over the phone purchase. It's just not located on the card for your security.

I just received my Apple Card in the mail and it was scratched right out of the envelope. Also, there is a yellow hue across the bottom 10% of the card. Maybe the finish hasn't fully dried? I don't know. Either way, this is unacceptable. I'm going to demand a new card until I receive a perfect one. Lastly, kinda on the fence whether I want to go naked with the card or not. I think I'll wait for drop test videos to see how durable it is before I decide......

Honestly, among all the sarcastic comments in here, the article actually lists useful information, like avoiding magnets or anything that could demagnetize the card. But some do wonder how to clean it, I think this article was rather useful. Thanks Macrumors for posting this.

In Apple’s eyes, the credit card is something that will see decreased use over time (as Apple Pay usage increases). This is likely them poking fun at a legacy artifact.

So amusing to see so many here lose their collective minds. Funny and predictable as always.
