These comments have made me laugh way too much.
I'm just happy it does not need to be charged overnight for use the next day.

You're not wrong, unfortunately.Common sense died a long time ago.
I mean, you can tell any bank that you "lost" your card, and they'll send you new one (not that I condone that sort of behavior). And you can request a replacement at no cost, a lot of banks don't do that![]()
Is anyone selling a protective case for the apple card yet?
Oh without a doubt it'll be in iOS 14 next year. Because I'm sure people would like to build automation shortcuts around the card also.On topic, yet all kidding aside, Siri integration into Wallet would be a nice addition. "Hey Siri, what's my balance on '...' card?" or for the mobility-impaired for whom Touch/Face ID is difficult "Hey Siri, display my '..." card"
I kid you not, I was genuinely surprised Apple isn't charging their customers for the card itself and are shipping it out for free. Maybe they wanted to but Mastercard and/or GS were like, "Umm yeah you do that, and you can say goodbye to any partnership with us."
Apple Fraud Prevention+Good grief. Next it’ll come with Apple Care +
Wouldn't it be the other way, because Apple Pay is 2% cashback, card is 1%Maybe they want it to seem so hard to maintain an actual card that everybody will use the virtual card in their Apple Wallet instead!
See that I understand for those guys, but Apple has no fees for their card. So I guess they're just eating the cost for their customers? And what happens if you need a replacement? Do they let you have the first one as a "freebie" and then charge for replacements? I guess time will tellThere are plenty of cards with annual fees. Chase Sapphire Preferred $450, Amex Platinum $550, Chase Sapphire Preferred and Citi Premier $95... This is basically "charging for the card".
The difference is those cards have benefits and rewards that justify their annual fees. The cash back and credit card benefits of the Apple Card is worse than a lot of no-fee credit cards. I would love to see an "Apple Card Pro" in the future with more high-end features though. There are plenty of cards with annual fees. Does it come with bubble wrap?

I didn't think it would have a metallic finish. But I do agree that would have looked better/been more practical. The sad thing is... the white is kind of ugly, right? When I got my physical card, I honestly thought the white part was part of the packaging and tried off and on for a minute or two to peel it off before I realized it was supposed to look like that. Because, you know, every image I remembered seeing of the physical card made it look like the whole thing was a kind of matte metallic finish, like a MacBook or something. That that would look a lot better, if you ask me.
Am I the only one who thought this?
And yeah, as soon as I realized it was supposed to be that way, my first thought (after, "oh, that's disappointing and ugly") was "that's going to start looking nasty pretty quickly."
Okay? That wasn't one of the cards you listed. Also, apart from Warren Buffett, I don't know of anyone who has an AmEx Green Card. And if you're carrying a balance on any card, you're doing it wrong.Amex Green... $95/year for the privilege of not being able to carry a balance.
