On topic, yet all kidding aside, Siri integration into Wallet would be a nice addition. "Hey Siri, what's my balance on '...' card?" or for the mobility-impaired for whom Touch/Face ID is difficult "Hey Siri, display my '..." card"
Oh without a doubt it'll be in iOS 14 next year. Because I'm sure people would like to build automation shortcuts around the card also.

E.g. "If balance is less than [specified value], then pay balance" or "Hey Siri, what does my day look like tomorrow?" and then she answers, "The high will be 48 degrees, you have three appointments, and don't forget to pay your balance which is due tomorrow!"

Or something like that idk

I kid you not, I was genuinely surprised Apple isn't charging their customers for the card itself and are shipping it out for free. Maybe they wanted to but Mastercard and/or GS were like, "Umm yeah you do that, and you can say goodbye to any partnership with us."

There are plenty of cards with annual fees. Chase Sapphire Preferred $450, Amex Platinum $550, Chase Sapphire Preferred and Citi Premier $95... This is basically "charging for the card".

See that I understand for those guys, but Apple has no fees for their card. So I guess they're just eating the cost for their customers? And what happens if you need a replacement? Do they let you have the first one as a "freebie" and then charge for replacements? I guess time will tell

The difference is those cards have benefits and rewards that justify their annual fees. The cash back and credit card benefits of the Apple Card is worse than a lot of no-fee credit cards. I would love to see an "Apple Card Pro" in the future with more high-end features though.

I was one where they could not verify my California Real ID. I had 2 weeks of calls from an Apple specialist.. They still haven't a clue, and then said " wait 30 days" then re apply. Umm My Chase card has better rewards, If this is an error on their part.. Id expect they chase it down. I still haven't received a legal turn down letter, The app just errors out over and over. ( I pay all my bills ahead and been perfect for 30 years , I had to look up the requirements for a legal Turn Down letter heheh)

I am a very peaceful type. if this happens to a lot of people with Real ID's ... well you can see the Attorney adds already!

they must be kidding! :) where is the manual on how to clean your AirPods...even the Genius experts fall back to using blue tack! that used to be a "hack".

The sad thing is... the white is kind of ugly, right? When I got my physical card, I honestly thought the white part was part of the packaging and tried off and on for a minute or two to peel it off before I realized it was supposed to look like that. Because, you know, every image I remembered seeing of the physical card made it look like the whole thing was a kind of matte metallic finish, like a MacBook or something. That that would look a lot better, if you ask me.

Am I the only one who thought this?

And yeah, as soon as I realized it was supposed to be that way, my first thought (after, "oh, that's disappointing and ugly") was "that's going to start looking nasty pretty quickly."

I was pretty excited to get my card. I jumped for joy so hard, I fell over on the sidewalk and scuffed my new Apple Card. My Apple Watch immediately recognized my face-plant as an unusual maneuver and called emergency services. Within minutes, a crackerjack team armed with supple microfiber towels, ever so slightly moistened with unicorn tears, buffed and shined my card to brand new status. I for one, am a happy Apple product user.

What are you thinking Apple... A card made out of titanium, but covered with cheap stuff the stains and scratches easily.
What's the natural color of titanium?

Amex Green... $95/year for the privilege of not being able to carry a balance.

You certainly don't have to be a card for cheapskates to be a viable product.

I didn't think it would have a metallic finish. But I do agree that would have looked better/been more practical.

Okay? That wasn't one of the cards you listed. Also, apart from Warren Buffett, I don't know of anyone who has an AmEx Green Card. And if you're carrying a balance on any card, you're doing it wrong.

when are the cases dropping on amazon? hey, you need to protect your titanium from scratches so it can retain it's resale value
