My statement wasn't news, so the news about it being false must be false news.

I never said that they weren't popular or good. These ads have been out for a few hours, so even if Apple let you look at the sales data, you wouldn't be able to see the increase in sales.

And the available for pickup date seems to slip daily. Now March 7th. Most will be lucky to get them by Easter I assume...

I was afraid of that - no Apple headphones ever stayed in my ears and that's just sitting down. I'm looking at the Powerbeats2 right now.

And Beats didn't work in my ears. It was about time Apple replaced their first Bluetooth ear piece. I still have it. Don't know if it will work again...

SICK!!

Excellent product placement with Lil Buck. Showing off exactly the intended purpose of the product, it's usage, and why it's better than the rest. Moreover, the seemlessly pairing and how that makes people feel!

Cannot wait for version two with better battery life per charge, better base response and Beats user tuneable profiles that stay in the AirPods!

Yes. I just may get this next pay cheque along with my Nike Watch! Actually two - one for my son.

Surprisingly good (not, fantastic, but good) referring to the airport...Like usual, these ads are fantastic, Typical apple!

The AirPod ads are good but not effective enough to make people want to buy them.

Also, I wonder if the AirPods were designed for the notes ad..

It will be difficult to tell since the demand is tremendous now. Despite Apple pumping out millions already, the demand is not letting up, so it looks like Apple has another hit on its hands.

A bit uninspiring. So AirPods make one walk on walls and upside down, hm.

Come on Dad. From an advertising perspective, there are three main goals with this ad series and it accomplishes all three beautifully: consumer awareness for those who haven't heard of or have seen this revolutionary new product, demonstrating how securely they stay in with routine and vigorous activity, and socializing the appearance as culturally acceptable/desirable (reminiscent of the how Apple took the original Earbuds, with their unique and arguably initially awkward appearance, e.g., bright white, gangling cords, etc., and made that look a "hip" look via its iconic ad series). Apple and its ad agencies understand how to do this better than anyone. In fact, I'd ad advertising to their famous "secret sauce" of software, hardware and services.

Have you seen any ad with two men holding hans? I mean, it hurts answering you, such waste of time. Good you like them, happy for you.
Um, you don't have to be a man, or "hold hans" (the way Princess Leia held Han in Force Awakens?) to be gay in an Apple ad.

Hate to break it to you but there have been dozens if not hundreds of gay people in Apple ads over the years. And probably in this ad as well. Because, news flash, gay people are the same as straight people. And, perhaps to your horror, they are EVERYWHERE.

I really need to stay away from the bottom feeding bigots in Internet forums. Later.

The speed of pairing is a pretty stupid thing to focus on. Pairing any bluetooth headphones is only a one-off action, saving ten or twenty or even thirty seconds over the life of the product is nothing. What's annoying is having to manually select the AirPods each time you switch between devices. I thought it would be smoother than it is. I still like them a lot, but hopefully in the future our devices will have some kind of smart switching that detects the AirPods and plays output to them without extra actions.

I don't think you could be any more off. BT pairing is a pain in the butt; if only it took 20 seconds "once in the life of a product."

A lot of black people in the ads, but not in the top management of Apple.

You're just noticing this now?! Blinded I see. Apple has just about always featured us blacks (I am) in their ads dating back to así bad Ali, S. Lee, etc. Up until three years ago I'd wager Apple never had a rep working in the main office above management or director level. That said it's not something Apple has fought against and let's not turn this into that kind of conversation as I personally believe Apple is not THAT kind of corporation even if the white release first then black product colours would make the public think so.

My experience with my Airpods:

Me: "Siri, set volume to 50%"
Siri: "I didn't find any results for Mogloom 50 cent"[\QUOTE]

Solution don't talk with a lisp or food in your mouth.

Lmao sorry just kidding. She messes up often which is sad cause she's had at least 2 yrs advantage abov the competition.

You: Play Marian Hill.

Siri: Here is what I found on the web for Marry In Hell.

I figured I'd give this a try and found if I speak 'Marian' with my Canadian English accent such as "Mar-Ee-an Hill" I get results in the first screenshot. If I speak like my heritage accent from the islands "Marion Hill" I get the second result screenshot. Oddly enough Siri speaks both results as the first screenshot ;)

This leads me to think the results differ based on the content within your phone or watch.

I love the footwork. I wish I were still young and could still dance like this without looking ridiculous. Of course, at no time in my youth could I ever dance up a wall. However, I could drive my friends and family up a wall. Actually, I still can. ;) :D

If any member of my fam heard you say that you'd get a ... you need to realize that Love, music and dancing is the very KEY to youth like a fountain keeps you smiling energized and it spreads positivity! You can never be notorious dancing in public and especially when you're old it's therapeutic both physically and to your soul.

Get out on that dance floor! Anywhere you are it's a dancefloor!! strut ans groove it's about your move not someone else thoughts. Love the sole you travel in let nobody be a judge. ;)

One love.

That happens from time. Happened with Kiiara "Gold" - Apple Watch, Alex Clare "Too Close" - MS Internet Explorer 9, X Ambassasdors "Jungle" - Beats World Cup. I'm sure there are many more, but it's a pretty effective way to get your music out there.

The 15 second clips seemed disjointed at first. Then I saw the full 1 minute ad. That was much better, more cohesive, and brought clarity to the 15 second clips. I like the song too.

Loved the song on the very first 15 second clip. Purchased!

I don't do streaming haven't since 25yrs ago when I stopped listening to Am/FM. Guess I should discover more music

I think Apple is consciously aware that these don't look good when showing as a pair.
And when they do on this video, it's quick motion hides the fact that they look IMO, very dorky.

Yes, it's subjective, but to me, these AirPods look like earrings when worned together. When it's just one in ear, it looks like a headset and mike.

I think that's the point to look like ear accessories. I got that the moment they where announced and the aftermarket will produce to fill his neche.

The stupid air pods commercial I just watched during this football game is just one of the reasons I won't buy them. #stupid #ridiculous.

If Melania buys them for you as a gift will you promise to return them? #lowhigh

Oh my goodness, ROFLMAO!

Yes, more for the rest of us! I admit I think they look odd to say the least but having tried on the ones my husband got, I was favorably impressed by the good fit, decent sound quality and convenience. I'm not chomping at the bit to get a pair of Airpods of my own yet, but eventually, sure.

Your point? If they can do the job better than others they'll be hired. Otherwise, not. Lack of diversity in management is a non issue.
