That's exactly why Steve did not want a stylus. Mr. Cook does not share Steve's vision.
I bet you are poetCaseless iPad in a tree, caseless iPad on a bike
With so much money in the bank
I take caseless iPad where I like
These commercials should come with a disclaimer because caseless iPads in dangerous environments is the wrong kind of excitement for me.
Augmented Reality is something Companies are pushing but Users aren't asking for.what is the reality with augmented reality?
Seems so far like 3D television that will never take off to much of anything

As for copying and pasting, I use Copied, a clipboard management app to store text snippets and insert them via a third party keyboard when needed. For me, copy-and-paste on a Mac is the compromise compared to how it's done on an iOS device.
How is Copy/Paste difficult? Double tap on a word you want to copy or adjust the handles like you’d do precision selecting with a mouse, then tap copy. Tap where you want to put it, tap paste.
The 12.9” iPad Pro is a professional photographer’s best tool, hands down. And today, I can confidentially say that it’s better than a Mac.

AR is nice, it is in an early stage but it's clear that will be killer in future. Apple pencil is nice but nothing very impressive. And also I don´t understand why you cannot use it with an 2017 iPad (non-Pro), it has almost the same hardware of 2016's Pro.
Pity the Apple Pencil is so god awfully uncomfortable to use. It has the worst ergonomics of any Apple products I’ve ever used. Top heavy, uncomfortable to hold, and every time you drop the tip onto the glass screen the tactile sensation is like nails on a chalkboard.
Horrid, and Apple should be ashamed.
Imagine what this kid could accomplish with a laptop!

I agree. I also find copying and pasting a chore in iOS.
First, the curser is not precise enough. In fact I find the Android water drop shaped curser more precise and easier to control, though not by much.
Then double tapping sometimes selects a word but sometimes zooms the screen, depending if you are doing it in an editing space, thus not consistent enough.
Press (tap) a word to select then drag to extend the selection.Maybe it's because I don't use a keyboard with it. Can you share what third party keyboard you use?

AR is what the old 3D vision was. It will disappear just like 3D did.Augmented Reality is something Companies are pushing but Users aren't asking for.
Companies are looking for something new and Bloggers are desperate for news stories. So, based on articles and press releases then you'd think AR is this new hot tech that everyone is drooling over. But in reality (real reality) then, if AR gets any notice at all, its neat for a few seconds and then quickly forgotten.
Press (tap) a word to select then drag to extend the selection.
Multiple selections can be dragged to a text clipping app. I use the fabulous Yoink.
But in discussion forum like MacRumors just use the quote/multi-quote features.
And if you love precision, use a keyboard and keyboard commands. Just like a laptop. I use the Apple Smart Keyboard.

So you work in advertising for a living? Would love to see your work.terrible quality ads from Apple. the portrayal seems distracting to the iPad.
Not a fan of multitasking on the iPad, dual screen apps and even closing out apps more hassle then its worth.
I like the quality of the Pencil, but agree ergonomics and weight are really negatives and I can't naturally pick it up and use it, I find myself back to pad and paper, while I want to switch to the iPad Pro + Pencil, its not natural.
