I just picked up the black (gray really) silicone case for my 6+ this morning at my local Apple store (still had a line outside btw). After having the leather case on since launch I was curious what all the talk was about and I have to say, it's worthy of the hype! Exact same dimensions as the leather but the felt inside goes all the way up the sides (doesn't on the leather) and it has a silky (not sticky) grip to it. The added bonus is it fits perfectly in the Seidio Surface holster just like the leather one does so I will definitely be keeping both cases.

Grand Central NYC has plenty of stocks of Black, Red, Brown and soft pink leather cases. They also have Black, Red silicon cases. I bought RED and I like it...
Bought the black (grey) silicone case for my Space Grey 6+ last week and have been loving it ever since. Looks and feels really good, and it doesn't attract very much lint at all.
I'm tempted to buy another silicone color and then either a red or blue leather, just for when I'm in the mood to switch things up. Still can't decide if getting a leather one would be worth it, though.

I'm going to try the silicone in black. I have the black leather and I can tell the leather is much slicker than my wife's green silicone. I'll probably pick up the red and black for my space gray 6+.
I had the red before, now carry the green. Red looks great - dusts dont show, but it just sticks out like a sore thumb at work, got the green (work for TD, goes with the company color too thnk god) in order to maintain a lower profile. I would have kept the red but I couldnt pull off the millennial look at an office full of suits.

I use a Caudabe Veil, but I'm thinking about getting one of these for times when I need more protection. Does anyone have experience with past product red cases? Does the red get stained after a while? I'd get the case, but stains are my only concern.
Isn't that a beautiful combo? I just picked up mine -- same color combination. I really love the fit and feel of it. I had been using a really crappy case from Amazon until this came in stock and I love it. I am still concerned about how dirty the white will get, but it looks very crisp and beautiful right now.
For anyone wondering about the white silicone case - it does not show any dirt. I've had it on the phone since Saturday and I even was handling the phone with sweaty hands for several hours Sunday and still the case is perfectly white.

I picked up my red silicone case from the store tonight. Immediately put it on my space grey 6+. Man, this is a thing of beauty. The black makes the red really pop. And it looks clean, no extraneous lines. It's like a hot rod.
Compared to my blue leather case, I feel like now that I've worn the leather in, it's easier to grab and maintain a grip than the silicone, but the buttons are far easier to press on the silicone, even after breaking them in on the leather. I'm contemplating returning the leather case, because it is expensive and the red is so hot that I'll likely be using it as my main case. But if I did that I'd want a second color for times when I don't want the phone to be so flashy, and I feel like the only color that would be muted enough would be the "black", which is far too grey for my tastes.
So it's either keep the leather case for the times that I want the phone to be more muted, or buy a third party case, but I'm not sure which one I'd want to go with.

the silicone is rubber thru and thru will survive a drop better than leather....I'm sold on silicone, I have the leather and silicone and the silicone wins...

My black silicone case tore today. I took a small chunk out of it near the bottom. No dropping or anything...must have caught when removing the case. It's not too bad, but it's annoying to look at so I'm going to bring it to Apple to see if they'll swap it. No excuse for that happening on a simple case that's this expensive.
I was expecting to buy the leather case but ended up buying the silicone one. I held them both, in each hand, and the silicone one just felt better - much smoother and slick. Leather one was nice but slightly slippery.
All in all, I would definitely recommend the silicone case. Fits great.

I ordered a green silicone case in addition to my current leather olive brown case. Is the green really bright as it appears in pics and videos?
I'm not so confident that it will remain that way over the long term. My iPad has a light gray Smart Cover on it and it definitely shows some grime after a few months. I'm not sure if it could be cleaned with something like a magic eraser or something. It's no that bad yet.
Does the Apple silicone case make it difficult to slip your phone into your pocket?
