I love my gold iPhone 6+128GB It's with me all day, every day. Love the camera, love the large screen, love its thinness and looks, love its Touch ID, love the landscape desktop and landscape mode in some apps. Love AT&T's Next plan in which I only paid sales tax up front for a $950 phone, and that I'll be able to trade this one in on the next one in September at my Apple Store for only another sales tax payment.

Life is good with Apple products and AT&T invisible service and great coverage in my area.

I don’t think anyone cares about Force Touch. 2Gb of Ram is where it’s at!

i' agree . and i'm in list of it :)

after steve gone ,,, all big suprise apple product not bring like before anymore ,,,,still have some left has part of him
like , iphone , ipad , mac , other

tim cook bring new product since he stand a leaders ceo i dont see anything really suprise and deserve at all ......

Never thought they would've done this on the 6S.
I'm fine with this, 2GB ram and a WAY better camera.

But IF and only IF they lower the absolutely obnoxious over-price AND have a real black option instead of the ugly lame grey or couch potato gold options.

Overpriced compared to what?

And why would they lower the price of a product they probably won't be able to keep on the shelves for the first few months? Typically you lower the price of something due to low demand, and that ain't happenin'...

I'm sticking with the 5S until the 7. The days of needing to upgrade every generation or every other generation are long gone (if they ever really existed in the first place). Touch ID was enough to get me to go from the 5 to the 5S. I love being able to unlock my phone with a finger instead of having to input a code every time I bring it out of my pocket but nothing has come along since then that makes it worth it for me to drop that kind of money on a new phone. I joined the AT&T Next Prgram when I bought the 5S thinking I might upgrade every time a new phone comes out as the program allows but I really enjoy having the phone paid off and a cell phone bill that's less than $80 a month. Apple is going to need something more than a larger screen and Apple pay for me to change my mind. Sooner or later I'll have to or the latest version of iOS won't run on my device but here is to hoping the iPhone 7 gives users a compelling reason to want to upgrade.

Still use my 4s as a daily driver. Bought new 3.5 years ago. Still looks like it just came out of the box. Still has original battery.
I'd say you have been lucky with your 4s,or didn't use it much at all.
My 2.5 years old 4s (which I kept very well) still looks pristine, but thats about it.battery barely holds charge,it now shuts down dead at 30% charge with no warning.it's slow and laggy and worst of all,the WiFi just died with no warning or reason 5 months ago..
So much for Apple quality..I have a 6 since launch but I know I can't trust this phone to work more that 2 years.

Well, aside from it being slightly darker and much less prone to scratching. I'm happy without sapphire for a phone.

Scratch resistance means nothing while the coating is still there. It's that that scratches, not the cover glass.

I don’t think anyone cares about Force Touch. 2Gb of Ram is where it’s at!

I think you're underestimating FT. It could be a very useful feature. Still not really sure how they will go about it.

You do realise that sapphire has no advantage right?

Where's your materials science and engineering degree from?

Sapphire has advantages and disadvantages.

Today, the cost of single crystalline sapphire probably outweigh the advantages.

"Glass" is great, because its inexpensive to manufacture. And it is generally sufficient. Except for klutzes.

No degree here. I just can't think of a single advantage of sapphire.

What I really want is for them to get rid of that ugly weird plastic strip on the back for the antenna and figure out another way around it.

We don't even know if this will be all. They still have 3 months and they work behind closed doors so they may have something no one is expecting!

Personally for me though, 2 GB of RAM is enough of a reason to upgrade. Add the A9 chip, Force Touch, and improved cameras, and that's just icing on the cake.

People say that every year, but that is likely going to be it - the rumors always divulge all important new features (aside from software). I'm excited for 2GB ram too, but to be honest, the only time I notice is it in safari with 5+ tabs, or while switching between two large applications (which forces one of them to reset). Annoying, yes - but groundbreaking to the point where I'd consider it a great feature to justify a purchase? No way. Basically all this phone has going for it in terms of new tech is going to be the camera. Force touch will be cool too, but it's not really a selling point.

Force touch? For what?

I haven't heard a single praise to what force touch enables or even what the potential of it could be. I've seen demos of it yes. But noone was too enthusiastic about it, rather more being concerned that it adds another level of complexity to a rather rare to apply feature. I mean, the single most important purpose of it was to use it with a stylus. And this is where it all comes to a dead end when talking about apple mobile devices. And on laptops and desktops: This is what electronic drawing tablets are here for and they so far are way superior to force touch by a very large margin.

What on the other hand would be cool: Detect fingers hovering over a device before touching it.

I recently read that APple applied for a patent for a metal that would match the aluminum perfectly, cover the antenna lines and not lose receptivity. http://www.bidnessetc.com/46056-app...to-replace-plastic-antenna-lines-on-iphone-6/

What I would love to see if them get rid of the huge bezel the iphone 6 has. I know the bottom bezel has to stay, but the top should be reduced much more.

Yeah everyone was disappointed
LMAO wat? The 2GB of RAM is the higgest new feature. The 6+ is already chugging with its limited RAM. This is Apple's biggest update since the iPhone 4.

Give me an example of where 2GB ram will be a major break through? I see ram limitations in only two specific scenarios with my 5s. When using high amounts of safari tabs, they need to re-load while switching between them, and then also while using two big apps, for instance, two games, and switching between them, the app you switched out of will have to restart. Those are specific annoyances imo, not cases where the phone is chugging along.

For people who already own a 6 or 6+, there's probably not a huge draw.

I've been due for a 2-year carrier contract upgrade for a couple months now, but I think I'll wait for the new iteration. I feel completely neutral about force touch, but the prospect of a faster processor and more RAM (and maybe they can even squeeze more battery life out of the current technology too) is exciting.

If they recently applied for it then that means that they're working on it for the iPhone 7, not the iPhone 6S.

I'll be upgrading, however that's down to not getting the 6+ and now wanting the larger screen.

Everything it has over the 6 will be nice but not essential.

(btw I'm hoping force touch on the iPhone can behave differently depending on where you force touch, unlike the watch which is the whole screen. I want every app icon to behave differently when force touched for example. Or force touch on the right of the screen fast forward my video and force touch on the left of the screen to rewind. That would make the whole concept a lot more user friendly in my opinion.)

It would have to work like this - the screen is way too huge for "just press hard anywhere" to be a function, it will have to know where your finger is force touching - otherwise apple would be creating a second home button - maybe this would be the way to finally remove the home button from the face.

If they recently applied for it then that means that they're working on it for the iPhone 7, not the iPhone 6S.

Apple applied for that patent in February 2014 and it was just approved. I think there's a decent chance that Apple will implement it on this year's iPhone, the 6s or 7 if they decide to drop the 's' designation as a few rumors have eluded to.

80 USD a month! Jeez. I pay 24 euros for a 20gb 4G and unlimited domestic calls plan in Spain (I buy the iPhones free, without contract, of course)

Don't like the 6 design, with the protruding camera, thick grey antenna lines, and overall device size.

So I will stick with my excellent 5S.

Hopefully the 7 will have a redesign that includes a camera flush with the surface, less ugly antenna lines, and a smaller device, perhaps a 4.7" screen, but in a device size that is much closer to the 5S size... ie. narrower bezels.
