the status has changed to Preparing for Shipment tonight.

The weird thing is I haven't receive any email from Apple Online Store

Ordered via Apple App all by 2:07AM CDT. All Preparing for Shipment for Sept 28-Oct 2 delivery.
 
Preparing for shipment

Ordered @ 12:02am 64gb Space Gray AT&T, just changed (7 pm-ish 9-21-13) from processing to preparing for shipment, 2nd one appx 5 mins later still shows preparing for shipment.
Update: 2nd one changed to preparing for shipment about 7:30pm pacific.

Are you guys just checking in on the site or do you get a confirmation via email or text message to when the status changed to "preparing for shipment"?

Just checked on my order and it's at "Preparing For Shipment" yet I didn't get a notification so I guess I answered my own question.

Finally. Now the anxiety can continue until I get a tracking number. Then it can continue until I get shipping updates. Then it'll all end once I get the phone in my hand. Same anxiety year after year. lol

Ship 1-3 days, delivery sept 30-oct 2, now is preparing to ship. How long will it takes for it to come from china

Is everyone getting updated to expedited shipping? I've been reading yes and no. since I paid the extra $10 should I call apple and ask for a refund on the shipping if everyone is getting it for free? I would obviously wait until the phone is on it's way. :D

The phones may already be here and dispatched from different centers according to where you live.
